It’s time for Dilmah’s Charitea event! This year, they’re holding two Charitea events, one in Sydney and one in Melbourne.
Hosted by Peter Kuruvita, the Sydney high tea is held at The Langham (formerly The Observatory Hotel) on Wednesday September 12th, 2012. In Melbourne, the event will be held at The Terrace at the Royal Botanical Gardens on Monday the 3rd of September, 2012. The event is to raise money for the MJF Foundation or the Merrill J. Fernando Foundation which was set up to benefit the underprivileged as well as nature conservation. Over the years they’ve helped tens of thousands of children better their lives.
The high tea will feature sandwiches, scones, sweet tarts, savoury goodies as well as two of their award winning recipes: an Orange and Almond Tea Baklava and a Green Tea with Jasmine Smoked Duck Breast with CeleriacRemoulade on Brioche Toast.This year it is invite only but thanks to Dilmah, I have 5 double passes to give away to either the Sydney or Melbourne Charitea event!For a chance to win, all you have to do is tell me what your favourite type of tea is and how you have it and please don’t forget to tell me whether you would like to go to the Sydney or Melbourne event!
