story of my life :big truck pulls up out the front, i get all excited thinking it's going to be something exciting...he gives me a cenovis teddy

another win :  yesterday my son spilled cordial on my laptop, it turned off and wouldnt start again, i wiped it off and blow dried it, then put it in rice over night.... its now working now to get the rice out from under  the buttons and save the photos in case it doesnt last

Yep the rice trick works... strangely enough. Has a mobile phone fall into bath so I stored it in rice over night and all good later on the next day

Congrates everyone on all your wonderful wins. I won some Blundstone boots which are perfect for my farmer hubby for a belated Fathers Day (just what he needed!!) also an early morning delivery of some Lynx bath scrubs, pack of 4 and a nice surprise. Although I didn't enjoy the parcel man seeing me with bed hair and before my morning coffee..and I didn't appreciate how he took a second look!!!
