CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Instructions and information on how to enter and the prize form part of these Conditions of Entry. If a conflict exists between these Conditions of Entry and any other material, these Conditions of Entry will prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
2. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, and agencies associated with any companies providing services or benefits to this promotion are ineligible. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
3. Entry into the promotion is free and open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older. To enter, each entrant must submit an entry, either via the Promoter's facebook page, the Promoter's Twitter page or an online form on the Promoter's website that sets out, in 25 words or fewer, who they would take to a dinner with Gary Mehigan and why. Each entry must separately and independently comply with these Conditions of Entry.
4. It is a condition of entering the competition that the entrant agrees that the Promoter may collect, store, use and disclose the entrant's personal information for the purposes of administering this competition and that the entrant agrees to receive marketing communication.
5. The promotion commences at 00.01am (AEDT) on 20/08/2012 and
ends at 11:59 pm (AEDT) on 31/10/2012. The winner will be selected at the Promoter's discretion and will take place on 09/11/2012 at 2 Park St, Sydney NSW 2000. The winners will be notified by telephone or mail or email. The winners will be determined at the sole discretion by the judge appointed by Promoter. The judge will be the Director of Marketing, Digital Banking and Customer Experience, Citibank Australia. The winning entries will be the entries that the judge decides in their subjective view best
describe who the entrant would take to a dinner with Gary Mehigan and why. There are two major prizes. The major prizes are two tables of nine people, plus the winners, on an evening where Gary Mehigan will prepare and cook a meal for those in attendance (refer clause 6).
6. The winners of the major prize will receive a dining experience where they will be able to bring nine people each. The dining experience will be redeemable on date, time and location that will be revealed once the winners have been confirmed. The prize does not include transport to and from the location.
7. A person whose entry was selected must confirm their eligibility to be awarded the prize within 3 days of being successfully notified by the Promoter that they have been chosen, otherwise their entry may be deemed invalid. If their entry is deemed invalid, the Promoter may conduct another selection at the same place as the original selection was decided as necessary on 12/11/2012 in order to distribute any prize if unclaimed by that date, subject to any written directions given under applicable State or Territory legislation. In the event of any winner(s) of the unclaimed prize, the winner will be notified by telephone or mail or email.
8. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winners to produce (within the requested time) appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Promoter's satisfaction, at its sole discretion) in order to confirm the winners' identity, age, residential address, eligibility to enter and claim a prize and any information submitted by the winners in entering the promotion before issuing a prize. If the documentation required by the Promoter is not received by the Promoter (or its nominated agent) or the winning entries have not been verified or validated to the Promoter's satisfaction within the time requested, the winners' entry will become invalid. A prize will only be awarded following any winner validation and verification that the Promoter requires in its sole discretion.
9. If any prize or element of a prize becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, then a similar prize or prize element of equal or greater value will be awarded to the winner in lieu, subject to any written directions made under applicable State and Territory legislation.
10. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone or network or lines, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on a mobile network, or any combination thereof, or any other technical failures including any damage to entrant's or any other person's mobile handset or computer related to, or resulting from, participation in this promotion or the downloading of any materials related to this promotion.
11. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to any written directions under State or Territory legislation.
12. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting, publicising or marketing this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products or services manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. The winners agree to participate in all reasonable promoted activities in relation to the Promotion as requested by the Promoter and its agents.
13. All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of the Promoter. It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner agrees that the Promoter may publish or cause to be published their name and locality in any media as required under the relevant legislation.
