To celebrate the upcoming Argentine Film Festival in Sydney from 13th September and Melbourne from 20th September, we are giving two lucky Hoyts Rewards members and their friend the chance to attend every film at the festival with a VIP Pass!

In partnership with INCAA (Instituto Nacional de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales), we are proud to showcase every year, the very best films from Argentina.
Argentina is well known for its Tango dance and music, also famous for its food, its unique beef meat, delicate wines and of course its achievements in the world’s game: Football. Its Cinema however, historically the most developed in Latin America... for over 100 years, is surprisingly less known.
In the year 2011, over 110 feature films were produced in Argentina, making it the most prolific producer of films in South America, you have probably seen “ The Secret in their eyes” – Oscars® Best Foreign Language Film at the 82nd Academy Awards or have just recently heard about Bérénice Bejo for her role in the multi-awarded “The Artist”, it also true that many others films and many other Argentine talented artists have won awards all around the world a reflection of a lively Film industry enjoying a ‘renaissance’ in film. We are very excited to bring to the big screen in Australia the very best of Argentine films, sit back and enjoy the Drama, Romance, Humor, Love and the Passion.

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is only open to residents of NSW and VIC only. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
3. To be eligible, entrants must be an Active Hoyts Rewards member at the time of entry. An Active member is one who has not expired and who has successfully provided their personal details online.
4. Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to all terms and conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to this Promotion.
5. Promotion commences on 7/9/12 and closes 11:59pm AEST on 11/9/12 (“Promotional Period”).
To enter, individuals must, during the Promotional Period log in to their Hoyts Rewards account and follow the prompts and input the requested details, and submit the fully completed form including answering a question in 50 words or less ‘Why do you want to attend the Argentine Film Festival? One winner will be chosen from Sydney and one winner from Melbourne.
6. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
7. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
8. Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) each entry must be submitted with a different email address; and (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
9. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. The winner will be announced and notified on 12 September 2012.
11. The first valid entries drawn will each win 2 VIP passes to the Argentine Film Festival at Hoyts. One winner will be chosen from Sydney and one winner from Melbourne.
12. The VIP pass is valid for any Hoyts Argentine Film Festival film only. Each VIP pass admits 1 per session per pass. Hoyts standard tickets terms apply. See hoyts.com.au for full details.
13. Prizing is non-transferrable and cannot be exchanged in any way.
14. Any cost associated with travel to the festival are the winners responsibility.
15. In the event that any prize item is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right, subject to the approval of any relevant trade lottery authority, to substitute a prize item of equal or greater value.
16. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
17. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
18. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize.
19. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and as required, to regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
