Europe's Most Wanted Competition

    Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Entry by each entrant.
    Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or older, who enter the promotion in the required manner.
    The prize winner must book all travel dates (flights, accommodation & tour) no later than 30 December 2012 and complete all travel between 1 April 2013 and August 2013 (subject to availability and blackout period). Except in the case of an unclaimed prize draw, no extension or variation of the date by which the prize trip must be taken or the date by which the booking(s) must be made will be permitted.
    Employees of Flight Centre Limited their immediate families and employees of affiliated partners are not permitted to enter.

Duration of Promotional Period

    The competition commences at 9:00am on Friday, 7 September 2012 and closes at 11:59pm on Friday, 5 October 2012.

How to Enter

    Eligible entrants can enter the promotion in any of the following ways:
        Persons who visit www.escapetravel.com.au/promotions/madagascar can complete an entry form online for this promotion. In order to enter the promotion the entrant must also tick the box to authorize email subscription.

        Persons who do not currently 'like' www.facebook.com/escapetravelAU must go to www.facebook.com/escapetravelAU and select 'like' this page. The competition is then entered by completing the online entry form for this promotion and ticking the box to become an Escape Travel email subscriber. Entry is via the ' Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted – WIN a Family Holiday to Europe' Facebook application.

        Persons who currently 'like' www.facebook.com/escapetravelAU must to go www.facebook.com/escapetravelAU, complete the online entry form for this promotion and tick the box to authorize email subscription to Escape Travel.     7. In order to subscribe to the Escape Travel email newsletter and complete an entry form eligible entrants will be required to provide their full name, current and valid email address, contact phone number and postcode. Eligible entrants must remain subscribed for the duration of the promotional period. When 'eligible persons' subscribe to the Escape Travel email newsletter they are agreeing to receive email marketing from Flight Centre Limited.
    Entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt and not at the time of transmission. Entries received will be considered final by the Promoters. Incomplete, inaccurate, erroneous, ineligible or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. Entries must be received by the Promoters during the promotional period referred to in Condition 5. The Promoters accept no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.
    Any costs associated with accessing the Promotional Websites remain the responsibility of each entrant and are dependent on the Internet Service Provider used.
    An eligible entrant may not enter the promotion more than once using the methods outlined in Condition 6 of these terms and conditions.

Draw Details

    The competition will be drawn using an electronic drawing method supplied by randomizer.org.
    a) There will be one (1) Major Prize draw which generates one (1) prize winner at random from all eligible entries received.

    b) In Addition there will be 20 Runners-Up Prize draws which generates 20 additional winners at random from all eligible entries received.
    The one (1) Major Prize draw and 20 Runners-Up Prize draws will take place at 11:00am on Friday, 9 October 2012 at Flight Centre Head Office, 545 Queen Street, Brisbane QLD 4000.
    The Major Prize Winner will be notified by phone and email on Friday, 9 October 2012 and the result will be published in The Australian newspaper on Wednesday, 10 October 2012.
    The 20 Runners-Up Prize winners will be notified by email on Friday, 9 October 2012 and the result will be published in The Australian newspaper on Wednesday, 17 October 2012.
    Should an unclaimed prize draw be necessary, the draw will be 90 days from the original draw date at 11:00am Friday, 4 January 2013 at Flight Centre Head Office, 545 Queen Street, Brisbane QLD 4000.
    The Prize Winners of any unclaimed prize draw will be notified by phone and email on Wednesday, 9 January 2013 and the results will be published in The Australian newspaper on Monday, 14 January 2013.

    There will be one (1) Major Prize to be won.

TOTAL POSSIBLE PRIZE VALUE FOR PROMOTION IS VALUED UP TO AUD$28,400

    All major prize inclusions are subject to availability. The following are not included as part of the major prize: all other out of pocket expenses including additional meals, beverages, laundry services, spending money, optional excursions, tipping, passports, visas, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs not expressly provided, as well as the costs of obtaining any of these. These, and any similar or related items not expressly set out in the description of the prizes in these terms and conditions are the responsibility of the Prize Winner and their travel companion.
    Prize Winners must take the prizes as offered. The prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, cannot be sold or exchanged for cash and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
    Details about the Major Prize and Runners-Up prizes are specified in Condition 18 and Condition 19 above. A travel form containing additional information about the prize options is attached.
    The prize and booking of the prize are subject to the standard booking terms and conditions of Escape Travel.
    Any passes and tickets issued as part of the prizes are subject to prevailing terms and conditions of use and any tickets or passes are only valid for use within the stated duration on the passes or tickets issued or the duration of the chosen prize, whichever is earlier.
    The Prize Winner consents to the use of their name, suburb of residence and image for promotional and marketing purposes.
    To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for:
        inaccurate/incorrect transcription of entry information;
        purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost, misdirected or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible, incomplete, sent with insufficient postage (where entry is by post), or sent other than as directed in the entry instructions;
        any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software;
        the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website;
        unauthorised human intervention in any part of the competition;
        electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition;
        any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a prize winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying a winner; or
        any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant's or any other person's computer related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in this competition.
    The Promoter will not be liable for personal injury suffered during the use of any prize winnings. The Prize Winner, and his or her guests, must sign and return any liability release and indemnity provided by the Promoter and/or its contractors as a condition of a prize being awarded. Failure to return the signed releases and indemnities will result in the entitlement to the prize being forfeited and the selection of another Prize Winner.
    The forgoing condition does not affect, and is not intended to affect, any rights a consumer might have, which cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of the Promoter or its servant or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to the payment of the cost of having the prize supplied again.
