Entrants must be able to take the prize within 12 months of being awarded
the prize.

Competition Period
The competition begins at 8am AEST on Monday 17
th
September 2012.
Entries into the competition close at 5pm AEST on Wednesday 19

During the Competition Period:
(a) listeners will be invited via Station on-air commercials to visit the Station Website
and complete the online entry form including by providing their contact details and
by
correctly identifying the name of the island in which the treasure chest is
located on the map, and also by stating in 25 words or less why they need to
escape to an island (using their best pirate impression to explain) within the
time period specified on each day in the commercials;(b) each entry submitted by the time specified by the Station will be individually
reviewed by representatives of the Station.
For each contesting spot the Station will
select the two (2) entries it deems to be the âbestâ (as determined by the Promoter in
its sole and absolute discretion and based on the Judging Criteria) from all valid
entries received within the time period specified.
(c)
The Station will then telephone the relevant entrants to invite them to discuss their
entry on-air and participate in a game of âsink or swim‟ where they will be asked one
(1) general knowledge question.
(d) The first entrant to answer the general knowledge question correctly (as determined
by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) will be deemed the winner for
that contesting spot and will be awarded the major prize and the remaining entrant
will be awarded a Minor Prize. Maximum Number of
Entries
One entry per person, per day during the Competition Period. Entrants may
only participate in one (1) contesting spot each.

Judging Criteria Each valid entry will be individually judged (by representatives of the
Promoter) based on, among other things, the creativity and originality in
their response.

Major prizes
There are up to 3 major prizes to be won, as follows:
Major prize: An island holiday to a âmystery‟ location* and $60.00AUD

*Travel is from the winners nearest capital city to the destination
(which may be in Australia or overseas) as specified by the
promoter in its sole and absolute discretion. The destination of
travel will be revealed to the Major Prize winner at the conclusion of
the relevant contesting spot.
- The Major Prize/s are subject to all terms & conditions set out by the
relevant airlines and prize providers.
- The Major Prize must be taken between October 2012 and October
2013, subject to blackout dates during certain school holiday and other
peak periods.
- Booking must be made at least 6 weeks prior to travel. Once booked,
arrangements cannot be altered/changed.
- Additional costs including (but not limited to) insurance, spending
money, visas, meals and any other ancillary cost are the responsibility of
the Major Prize winner.
- The Promoter takes no responsibility for illness or loss whilst travelling
and recommends that all winners take out appropriate travel insurance.
