Promotion
1. The Provide Your Details & Mobile For a Chance to Win $5,000 promotion (“Promotion”) will commence at 8am, Monday 17 September 2012 and concludes at 10am on Thursday 1 November 2012 at the end of the draw (“Promotion Period”). All times are listed in Australian Eastern Standard Time.
2. The Prize Draw will take place at 10am on Thursday 1 November 2012 (“Prize Draw”) at the offices of Echo Entertainment Group, Level 4, 159 William Street, Brisbane, QLD (“Draw Location”).
Entry requirements
3. Participation in the Promotion is open to all persons who:
a. are 18 years of age or older;
b. are a member of the Absolute Rewards program operated by the Promoter that have a current Absolute Rewards card (each a “Membership Card”);
c. must have opted in and remain opted in for the remainder of the promotion to receive communication; and
d. are not the subject of an exclusion direction or self exclusion order pursuant to the Casino Control Act 1982 (QLD,
People who meet the above conditions and continue to satisfy the conditions during the Promotion Period are referred to as “Eligible Member/s” and will be entitled to enter the Promotion.
4. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any person participation in the Promotion at any time.
Entry into the Promotion
5. Entries in the Prize Draw may be earned during the following times:
a. 8am Monday 17 September 2012 to 11.59pm Wednesday 31 October 2012.
6. To receive an entry into the Prize Draw (“Prize Draw Entry”) an Eligible Member must obtain and complete an Update Your Details form (“Details Form”) and have their personal details updated in person at the Absolute Rewards Desk at Treasury. An Eligible Member can obtain a Details Form in Treasury’s October Lifecycle Direct Mail, from an Electronic Gaming Machine or Table Games Team Member, or the Absolute Rewards Desk at Treasury.
7. Only one (1) Prize Draw Entry will be accepted for each Eligible Member during the Promotion Period.
Prize Draws
8. Each Prize Draw Entry will be placed into a Barrel behind the Absolute Rewards Desk (“Barrel”).
9. At the Prize Draw the Eligible Entrant noted on the first correctly completed Prize Draw Entry selected from the Barrel ("Selected Entrant”) will win $5,000 cash (“Prize”).
10. To be eligible to receive the Prize, the Selected Entrant must have nominated to opt-in to receive communication during the Promotion Period.
11. If a Selected Entrant does not satisfy Condition 10, the Promoter will conduct redraws until an Eligible Entrant who meets these Conditions of Entry is found.
12. The total prize pool for this Promotion is $5,000 cash. The Winner may choose to take the Prize in the form of cash or a cheque or a combination of both.
13. The Promoter will notify the Winner of their win by telephone or mail in accordance with the details provided on their Prize Draw Entry or member records held by the Promoter, and will be required to collect their Prize from the Sovereign Room Desk Level 2 and provide identification in accordance with Conditions 14 or 15 at the time of collection.
Identification
14. A Selected Entrant must produce valid acceptable identification to a representative of the Promoter to confirm their eligibility to win a prize. Valid identification acceptable to the Promoter will be either one form of valid photographic identification (Passport or Australian driver’s licence) with an undamaged clearly visible photograph, or two other forms of non-photographic identification acceptable to the Promoter. A Selected Entrant must also produce their Membership Card to confirm their eligibility to win a prize.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to waive or vary the identification requirements at its sole discretion in circumstances where the identity of a Selected Entrant is determinable by a representative of the Promoter without the assistance of these or any other form of identification.
General
16. Directors, management and employees of the Echo Entertainment Group of companies (including any related body corporate as defined in the Corporations Act 2001) and their immediate families, which has the meaning given to that phrase in the Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Rule 1999 (Qld) are not eligible to participate in this Promotion. The Echo Entertainment Group comprises, but is not limited to the businesses of The Star Casino, Jupiters Hotel and Casino, Treasury Casino and Hotel and Jupiters Townsville.
17. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for alternate prizes. Any tax liability or implication which attaches to a prize is the responsibility of the Minor Prize Draw Winner and Major Prize Draw Winner claiming that Prize.
18. The Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered or claimed (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss or damage, personal injury or death, and direct or indirect loss or damage) by an entrant in relation to entering or participating in this Promotion or taking or using the prizes offered except where that loss, damage or injury was caused by breach of these terms and conditions by the Promoter or the wilful or negligent acts or omissions of the Promoter. To avoid any doubt, the Promoter shall not be liable for loss caused by technical and mechanical malfunction which is outside the control of the Promoter.
19. Conduct of the entire Promotion, including decisions on the eligibility of persons to enter and validity of entry and prizes, shall be the responsibility of the Promoter.
20. To the extent that a situation or issue arises for which these terms and conditions make no provision or in relation to which the relevant terms and conditions are unclear, the Promoter reserves the right to make a decision regarding such situation or issue which is not inconsistent with these terms and conditions.
21. While the Promoter intends to conduct the Promotion as offered, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or change the Promotion or a prize offered in the Promotion if it can no longer continue the Promotion or offer a prize due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s control.
22. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late or non-received entries. The Promoter does not guarantee the continuous or fault-free operation of the entry processes, including entry validating and receipting processes, during the Promotion.
23. Any entrant who tampers, or attempts to tamper, with the entry processes or tampers, or attempts to tamper with the processes used for the draws or who submits an entry which is not valid in accordance with these terms will be subject to disqualification at the discretion of the Promoter.
24. Selected Entrants may be asked to participate in publicity or advertising at the request of the Promoter. Participation in any such publicity or advertising is at the sole discretion of the relevant Selected Entrant. The names of Selected Entrant will not be published without their consent except as announced at the Draw Location.
25. Participation in the Promotion indicates acceptance of the terms and conditions governing the Promotion. These terms and conditions will be available at the Absolute Rewards Desk at the Treasury Casino throughout the Promotion Period.
26. By participating in this Promotion, each entrant’s entry/entries becomes the property of the Promoter and may be used for the Promoter’s business analysis and marketing purposes in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy statement which can be viewed at
www.treasurybrisbane.com.au. Privacy law allows entrants to access their personal information held by the Promoter in certain circumstances. Failure to supply the personal information requested may result in an entry being deemed invalid.
