One
ONE is an exciting new dance performance having found a language somewhere between the two homelands of its creators, Zimbabwe and Australia. ONE tells the story of the essential drive humans have to connect with each other while struggling for self-preservation in the most difficult of circumstances. ONE is an exploration of the things we all have in common – loneliness, rubbish and ultimately, each other.
Gilbert Douglas and Susan Doel’s seven lines of movement weave throughout this piece creating a work that is expressive and dynamic in a unique piece of live performance. The original score for ONE has been composed by Daniel Soffner, a classical musician and electro punk composer from Germany.
