Now in its 13th year, this most passionate of Festivals, which is the largest celebration of Italian cinema outside of Italy, returns to Palace Barracks and Centro on October 3-21, with 30 new films that celebrate the romance and artistry for which Italian movies are renowned.
Catering to every taste, the lovingly selected programme will showcase the best Italian fare from recent international film festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, Toronto, Rome and Venice and will include CAESAR MUST DIE, winner of the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival 2012; THE ENTREPENEUR, a contemporary drama starring Italian heart-throb Pierfrancesco Favino; WELCOME TO THE NORTH, the hilarious, hit sequel to WELCOME TO THE SOUTH and the romantic comedy, ONE DAY MORE, starring the enchanting Isabella Ragonese.
