Entry is only
open to Australian residents aged 16+ years (“Eligible Entrants”). Eligible entrants who are between the ages of 16 years and 18 years are required to have a parent/guardian’s approval to enter the Promotion and, should they win, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent/guardian on the winner’s behalf. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating retailers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
The Promotion commences 10.10.2012.
Entries close and must be received by 11.59PM AEDST on 06.11.2012 (“Promotional Period”).
Four weekly draws for 250 x $10 Big W vouchers (“Weekly Draws”) will take place by electronic random selection at 403/62 Beach Street, Port Melbourne on 18.10.12 for entries received between 10.10.2012 and 11.59pm AEDST 17.10.12, 25.10.12 for entries received between 18.10.12 and 11.59pm AEDST 24.10.12, 1.11.12 for entries received between 25.10.12 and 11.59pm 31.10.12, and 08.11.2012 for entries received between 1.11.12 and 11.59pm AEDST 06.11.12 at 12.00pm AEDST.
All entries in the Weekly Draws will be eligible for the major prize draw (“Major Prize Draw”), which will be drawn on 08.11.12 at 12.00pm AEDST at 403/52 Beach Street, Port Melbourne. The winners of the Weekly Draws and the Major Prize Draw will be contacted in writing within 3 days of the relevant Weekly Draws and the Major Prize Draw and the Major Prize Draw winner’s name will be published in The Australian 22.11.12. An entry is deemed to be received at the time of its receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission by the Eligible Entrant.

Entrants must buy any V multipack from Woolworths Supermarkets in Australia during the Promotional Period, retain the original receipt, and then either a) Visit
www.v-energy.com.au/jeep and follow the prompts to enter; b) Send an SMS on 1977 7755 (Premium SMS cost 55c incl GST per SMS with the last five digits of the barcode, first name, last name and postcode, with a space between each word or piece of information. Any costs associated with accessing or downloading are the Eligible Entrant’s responsibility and may depend upon the Eligible Entrant’s usage plan. SMS Eligible Entrants must have premium service access. The SMS Provider is Prime Focus and the SMS Helpline only is 1800 818 957 .
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and Eligible Entrant’s (including an Eligible Entrant’s identity, age and address) and to disqualify any Eligible Entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these conditions of entry or who tampers with the entry process (including but not limited to tampering by way of use of automatic entry software or techniques designed to avoid payment of premium call or SMS costs). Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid. Any incorrect details submitted may render the corresponding entry invalid.
Two entries are permitted per Eligible Entrant per day.Eligible Entrants must retain their original Woolworths purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce proof of purchase for all valid entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in the invalidation of all of an Eligible Entrants entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
MAJOR PRIZE:
The major prize winner will win one 2012, 2 door Jeep™ Wrangler Sport with 3.6L petrol engine in the colour Black. The total value of the vehicle is up to $40,458. The prize includes on-road statutory and government charges, and dealer delivery. The prize excludes any additional accessories.The on-road costs comprise of dealer delivery and statutory government charges and one year’s registration (in the State or Territory in which the winner resides) plus compulsory 3rd party insurance plus premium paint. All other costs are to be borne by the winner.
The colour of the major prize vehicle is Black. Should the colour Black not be available due to stock or other unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter will procure Chrysler Australia ABN 23125 956 505 trading as Fiat Chrysler Group to provide the winner’s preferred colour but the colour cannot be guaranteed and is subject to availability.
Comprehensive insurance, additional options and all ancillary costs (including travel to and from the Jeep Dealership to collect the major prize vehicle) are the responsibility of the winner. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner.
The winner must collect the major prize within 90 days of being advised of their win (excluding VIC winners who must collect their prize within 28 days) (unless the delivery date is delayed by Fiat Chrysler Group in their discretion), and must collect the major prize from their nearest Jeep Dealership as nominated by the Fiat Chrysler Group.
As a condition of entry for the competition and of accepting the major prize, the winner (or his/her parent/guardian, if under the age of 18) must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or Fiat Chrysler Group in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to any legal release and indemnity form.
SECONDARY PRIZES:
The first 250 individual valid entries drawn in each of the four weekly prize draws will receive by mail a $10 Big W Gift card. There is a limit of one voucher per Eligible Entrant (excluding SA). The Big W Gift Card is subject to terms and conditions located at:
www.everydaygiftcards.com.au . Expires 12 months from date of issue.
Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason whatsoever a prize winner does not take their prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited by the prize winner and neither cash nor any other prize will be awarded in lieu.
If a prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with an alternative prize to the equal value and/or specification, unless to do so would be prohibited by law and subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
If for any reason whatsoever beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promotion is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, unless to do so would be prohibited by law, to (a) disqualify any Eligible Entrant; and/or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to cancel, suspend, modify, terminate or cancel the promotion.
Total Major Prize is valued up to $40,458 and is correct at the time of printing.
The Total minor prize pool value is $10,000.Unless otherwise stipulated, a prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
If required, an unclaimed Major prize draw will take place on 13.02.13 at the same time and place as the original Major prize draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners will be notified within 2 days of the draw in writing. Winners’ names will be published in The Australian on 28.02.13
Except for any implied condition or warranty the exclusion of which from these conditions of entry would contravene any statute or cause any part of these conditions of entry to be void (“Non Excludable Condition”), the Promoter excludes from these conditions of entry all conditions, warranties and terms, implied by statute, general law or custom. Except for any liability in relation to a Non-Excludable Condition, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability whether arising in tort (including, without limitation, negligence), contract or otherwise for any personal injury or any other loss or damage (including without limitation loss of opportunity or loss of profits) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, without limitation, the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control): (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these conditions of entry ; (e) any tax implications; (f) the cancellation or postponement of the Promotion; and/or (g) a prize or use of a prize.
Each Eligible Entrant consents, if the Eligible Entrant becomes a winner, to the Promoter using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting the Promotion (including any outcome), the Promoter and/or products/services supplied by the Promoter and/or a prize supplier.
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and provide any goods/services requested and may, for that purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers or a regulatory authority and for any purpose to which the Eligible Entrant has previously consented, including but not limited to, future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes. Eligible Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
