Instructions on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into this promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The promotion is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years and over; not open to residents of New Zealand.
Only one entry per person will be permitted. Employees of the Promoter, their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
The promotional period commences September 10, 2012 and closes 11.59pm (AEDST) on November 18, 2012. This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.
To enter, participants should answer the question “Why is the Jané Rider the perfect choice for you?” in 25 words or less, and email it along with their full name, address and contact phone number to
cosmopregnancy@acpmagazines.com.au.
Entries will be individually judged, based on literary and creative merit and originality. The promotion will be judged by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter and will begin on November 20, 2012. Winners will be notified by December 4, 2012, by phone and mail using the contact details provided in their entry.
The best entry as determined by the judges will be deemed the winner and will receive a Jané Rider and Micro Carrycot package, valued at $1200. Prize package includes the following:
- 1x Jané Rider stroller
- 1x Micro Carrycot
- 1x Sun parasol
- 1x Nappy bag
- 1 x Rain cover
- 1x Footmuff
- There are five packages to be won.
Total prize pool is valued at $6000. Prize includes delivery. Please allow at least six weeks for the delivery of your prize.
Entries not completed in accordance with the Terms and Conditions or received after the closing date will not be considered. Indecipherable or incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. The judges’ decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.
The prize is valued in Australian dollars. Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at the time of print. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
The Promoter and ACP Magazines Ltd (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion including
any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control)
any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference
any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter
any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;
any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant or
redemption of the prize (g) participation in the promotion.
If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this competition are governed by the Privacy Notice (see the contents page of the latest issue of Cosmopolitan Pregnancy: The Ultimate Baby Checklist magazine). Entries will not be returned to any entrant. By entering this promotion, each entrant warrants to the Promoter that each entry submitted is their own original artistic work which does not infringe the rights of any third party. The entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoter against all claims and costs by third parties arising from a breach of the warranty set out in this condition.
