Bandhini is a unique Australian design business, that was brought to life in 1993 in a home garage by a young mum balancing a passion for design and raising her son. Designer Tai Schaffler has an evident love for textiles and for the past 20 years she has overseen production of Bandhini products in her spiritual home of India.
The unique textile designs are created by craftspeople
using manual techniques rarely seen today. Bandhini
weavers have mastered their craft using 100-year-old
machines and passing their secrets on from one
generation to the next.
You may recognise Bandhini designs from their
favoured use by leading interior designers in high
profile developments and resorts around the world.

Conditions of Entry
Information on how to enter forms part of the conditions of entry. The competitio listed on this website are open to Australian residents only. Employees of Express Publications Pty Limited ACN 057 807 904 (“Express”), and the product company and their subsidiaries and families are not eligible to enter. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable for cash. The winners will be chosen at 50 Silverwater Road, Silverwater NSW 2128 aon the day listed as when the competition ends. There will be (1) one winner. If the winners are not present when chosen they will be notified by phone and mail. The winners will be decided by a panel appointed by Australian Coastal Home magazine. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. This competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. All entries will be judged individually on their merits based on creativity and originality. The prize is as stated on this website. The prize value is subject to change after printing.
