To be in the running all you need to do is GET GLINKED! Grab yourself a Glost product with a Glink (the little carabinas that come in all Glost products) from our webshop or Big W. Use it to ‘Glink’ your Glost gear to something cool, and take a photo, and upload it via our Facebook page.

‘Glost Get Glinked’ Competition Official Rules
1. By entering into the ‘Glost Get Glinked’ Competition (‘The Competition’), entrants agree to the official rules set out below.
2. The Competition is open to everyone except the following people:
2.1. Directors, members, partners, agents, advertising and promotional agencies; employees or consultants of Micador Australia Pty Ltd.
2.2. Spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of any of the persons specified in 2.1 above; are not eligible to enter the competition.
2.3. People who are not legal residents and legal citizens of Australia are not eligible to enter the competition.
3. The Competition is open from 18 October 2012 to 28 February 2013. All entries and votes must be submitted by 5:00pm AEST on 28 February 2013.
4. The major prize in the Competition is one (1) Travel Voucher to the value of AUD$5,000 inc GST. Travel period valid between March 2013 and March 2014.
4.1 The second tier prize consists of eight (
$100 BigW gift cards that will be awarded throughout the competition period to ‘Glink Pics’ which receive the highest number of Facebook ‘likes’. Entrants are only eligible to win one second tier prize in the competition period.
5. To participate in the Competition, each participant must:
5.1. Purchase any Glost Product, ‘glink’ it to another object, photograph it and enter your ‘Glink Pic’ using the entry mechanic on the Micador Facebook Page.
5.2. All entrants will include their name and details as per the entry form. Each individual photo can only be submitted once. To ensure fairness for all entrants, a maximum of five entries per entrant per month will be allowed. Any subsequent entries in excess of five a month will be deleted in moderation.
5.3 Each entry will automatically surrender intellectual property of ‘Glink Pics’ to Micador Australia, who will retain full ownership rights for the promotional purposes, including unlimited rights for reproduction in print, broadcast, online and social media.
6. Winners of the major prize will be determined after 28 February 2013 by a joint decision of Big W and Micador Australia, at their discretion. The prize will be awarded to the 'Glink Pic' which is deemed to be the most imaginative, original, hilarious, or otherwise outstanding.
7. The prize winner will be notified by email on Friday, 1st March 2013. If a potential prize winner fails to redeem the prize or does not meet the eligibility requirements, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the Runner-Up Finalist. A potential prize winner is not an actual winner until his/her submission is validated. In the event of non-compliance with these terms and conditions by the potential prize winner, the prize will be forfeited and the runner-up finalist will be deemed the potential prize winner subject to all conditions herein.
8. To obtain the name of the major prize winner (available after Friday 1st March 2013), visit Micador.com.au/glost or contact Micador Australia on (03) 8788 1800. Names of second tier prize winners will be published at Micador.com.au/glost as winners are announced throughout the competition period.
9. Micador Australia accepts no liability for:
9.1 any incomplete, lost, damaged, incomprehensible or indecipherable entries and all such entries shall be disqualified.
9.2 any technical issues experienced by entrants in the process of trying to enter the competition. Should entrants experience technical issues they should
emailawesome@micador.com.au with details so that Micador Australia can attempt to rectify these issues.
10. Entrants must be 13 years or older, or have their parents or legal guardians enter on their behalf. Should the winner of the major prize be an entrant under 18 years of age, the prize will be awarded to their nominated guardian.
11. The prizes are not transferable. No substitution, cash redemption or assignment of prize is permitted, but the organisers of the Competition reserve the right to substitute the prize with one of comparable or greater value for any reason.
12. Winners may be required to appear on television or radio, in print publications, or online sites to endorse, promote or advertise the goods or services of Micador Australia or Big W.
13. You are providing your information to Micador Australia and not to Facebook. Your information will only be used in accordance with these Official Rules. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. By participating, you hereby release and hold harmless Facebook from any and all liability associated with this promotion.
14. Collapsible Glost Drink Bottles will be awarded to the first 2000 entrants.
15. Entries will be moderated by at twice-daily intervals by Micador Australia. Entries will be deemed unsuitable for competition if they contain:
15.1 Violent, obscene, profane, hateful, derogatory, illegal or racist comments, content, links or images, or incite such comment or behaviour;
15.2 Evidence of illegal, risky or otherwise dangerous behaviour likely to result in injury;
15.3 Solicitations, advertisements and endorsements of any financial or commercial organisations;
15.4 Copyrighted material or images that use the branding logos or intellectual property of any financial or commercial organisations, or otherwise infringes third party intellectual property rights;
15.5 Any other inappropriate content or comments as determined by Micador Australia’s absolute discretion.
16. Micador Australia reserve the right to disqualify entries that breach the terms of the competition. If an entry is disqualified, the entrant will be notified by email.
17. Micador Australia does not endorse risky behaviour illegal, risky, potentially injurious or otherwise dangerous behaviour, and encourages all entrants to behave responsibly and exercise caution while participating in the competition. Micador Australia is not liable for injury or damages occurred as a result of entrant behaviour.
18. Micador Australia takes the principle of fairness in competition seriously. All entries and votes should be submitted and cast fairly. If, in the opinion of the Judges this principle has been flouted, they can declare any entries or votes invalid. If voting is effected by rigging, cheating, tampering, collusion, hacking or is otherwise effected by third-party interference, the Judges reserve the absolute right to disqualify entrants suspected of cheating or breaching the Official Rules.
19. The Judges’ decision is final and unchallengeable and in their absolute discretion may declare void any entry, void the competition or change the Official Rules while the competition is running to ensure equity of competition. In circumstances of changes to the Offical Rules, all existing entrants will be notified by email. No correspondence will be entered into.
