2 Double Passes To ‘The Sessions’ + Q&A with filmmakers Ben Lewin & Judi Levine (Melbourne only)

http://www.filmink.com.au/giveaways/600/

Off the back of winning the Audience Award and Special Jury Prize at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, there is a buzz of excitement around local filmmakers Ben Lewin and Judi Levine and their new film The Sessions. And Cinema Nova is delighted to announce that Ben and Judi will be joining the audience via skype following the screening of their film for an exclusive Meet the Filmmaker event on Sunday November 4.

John Hawkes plays Mark, a man who has polio and wants to lose his virginity. Being a religious man, Mark confides in Father Brendan (William H. Macy) about his desires. The priest assures him God will “look the other way” when Mark seeks the aid of a ‘sex surrogate’ (Helen Hunt).

Anchored by brilliant performances from both Hawkes and Hunt (with Oscar buzz circling both), The Sessions is a tender, graceful and pretty special film.

For your chance to score one of these double passes, simply let us know what your favourite film based on a true story is, and why. To enter, shoot us through an email at filmink@filmink.com.au with your answer.

This special event will run at Cinema Nova on Sunday, November 4 at 12.20pm
