Following the success of Tony Bennett's last two duet-themed albums, DUETS and DUETS II, he headed back into the studio to work on another impressive duet-filled release.
Viva Duets features collaborations with some of the world’s biggest Latin music stars including Marc Anthony, Roberto Carlos, Gloria Estefan, Vicente Fernandez, Juan Luis Guerra, Romeo Santos, Thalia and more.
Throughout his huge career, Tony Bennett has won an impressive 17 Grammy Awards and has sold more than 50 million records worldwide.
Working with artists of such a high calibre on this release was an honour, Bennett said. "Each of these artists were so warm and welcoming that there was an instant rapport,” he explained.
“Latin music has always been about melody and harmony and a lot of soul, so there was a very close artistic connection with each duet guest. I am absolutely thrilled about the record."
