Terms & Conditions
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Entry is only open to residents from Australia aged 18 years and over. Individuals must be a member of Facebook to access the promotional Facebook Page.
Directors, management and employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and its agencies directly associated with this competition are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
Competition commences at 12.00 noon AEDST on 05/11/2012 and closes at 11:59pm AEDST on 02/12/2012 (“Competition Period”).
To enter, eligible individuals must complete the following steps during the Competition Period:
Step 1: Registration
To register for the promotion, individuals must:
visit the Berocca Facebook page at
www.facebook.com/BeroccaAustralia; ‘like’ the Berocca Facebook page (if they do not already ‘like’ the page);
follow the prompts to the 28 Day Challenge promotion registration form;
register their details (including their full name, residential address, gender, age and a valid email address); and
submit the fully completed registration form during the Competition Period. For the sake of clarity, individuals will not receive an entry for registering their details only.
Step 2: Daily Challenges
Once individuals have successfully completed the registration step outlined above, they will be eligible to participate in the daily Berocca Challenges. Each day of the Competition Period registered individuals will have the opportunity to answer one (1) daily brain teaser question in order to gain an entry into the draw for that day.
To complete a daily brain teaser question, registered individuals must:
visit the Berocca Facebook page at
www.facebook.com/BeroccaAustralia; follow the prompts to the 28 Day Challenge promotional page;
provide an answer to the daily brain teaser question posted for that day; and
submit their fully completed answer so it is received by 11:59pm AEDST the same day.
If an entrant answers the daily brain teaser question correctly they will receive one (1) entry into the draw for that day. If an entrant answers the question incorrectly, they will not receive an entry into the draw for that day and they will not be eligible to submit a second entry for that same day. For the sake of clarity, entrants are only eligible to submit one (1) answer to the daily brain teaser question each day.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age, place of residence and Bayer Australia Ltd employment status) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Multiple entries permitted per person, subject to the following: (a) limit of one (1) registration per person; (b) limit of one (1) answer to the promotional brain teaser question per person per day; (c) limit of one (1) entry per person per day; and (d) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
This is a game of chance and all draws are conducted at random.
The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Total prize pool value is $37,510.
There will be a draw conducted for the entries received each day of the Competition Period (for a total of 28 draws). Entries into each draw will open at 12.00am AEDST and close at 11:59pm AEDST each day of the Competition Period (excluding the first draw when entries open at 12:00noon AEDST). All draws will take place at Digital Stampede, 106 Alexander Street, Crows Nest, NSW, 2065 at 11:00am AEDST on the dates specified in the table below. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. Entries into each draw will not be entered into any subsequent draws. The nature of each prize to be awarded and the number of prizes awarded in each draw is outlined in the table below. All prize winners from each draw will win the corresponding prize for that draw as states below. Prizes will be awarded to the first entries drawn, as determined by the number of prizes won in each draw.

Winners will be notified in writing by email, and their names will be published on the Berocca Facebook Page. Winners of prizes valued at over $250 will be published in The Australian on 07/12/2012.
Prizes will be sent directly to the winner’s nominated mailing address within 28 working days from notification.
Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the vouchers are not included. Any unused balance of the vouchers will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the vouchers are subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer of the voucher, including those specified on each voucher.
Redemption of the Fitness First 6 month membership certificate is subject to Fitness First terms and conditions of membership, available at
www.fitnessfirst.com.au. Membership certificate valid for non-members only. Multiple Fitness First membership certificates are not permitted. Fitness First membership certificate is only valid for six (6) months from the date of issue. Certificate will be invalid if presented after expiry date listed on the certificate. Persons aged 16 years and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times while in any Fitness First centre. Not valid with any other offers. Not transferable or redeemable for cash.
Winners of the Newton Running Shoes can select their desired shoe size at the time of prize notification, subject to availability.
The exact colour of the Apple iPad to be awarded (white or black) will be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Any costs associated with setting up service for an Internet carrier for the iPad is the entrant’s responsibility. Winners will also be responsible for all charges associated with use of the iPad including any browsing and download charges.
If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications, or technical difficulties. Entries will be deemed void if forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not take a prize (or an element of the prize), then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited.
If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
The Promoter will not be responsible for lost prizes caused by incorrect mailing addresses provided by the prize winner/s. The Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit.
Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place on 04/04/2013 at the same time and place as the original draws, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners, if any, will be notified in writing by email and their names will be published on the Berocca Facebook Page. Winners of prizes valued at over $250, if any, will be published in The Australian on 12/04/2013.

If this competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition, as appropriate.
Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
Any cost associated with accessing the Berocca Facebook Page is the entrant's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
Entry and continued participation in the competition is dependent on entrants following and acting in accordance with the Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, which can be viewed at

This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. The information an entrant provides will only be used for the purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions. Any questions, comments or complaints about this competition must be directed to the Promoter and not to Facebook. Facebook will not be liable for any loss or damage or personal injury which is suffered or sustained by an entrant or voter, as a result of participating in the competition (including taking/use of a prize), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
