Mike Tyson comes to the rescue of Australian Charity!
World heavyweight boxing champion and "Hangover" movie star Mike Tyson will raise funds for Rev Bill Crews - The Exodus Foundation on his speaking tour across Australia next month.
"The Exodus Foundation's literacy education program for Aboriginal children in Darwin is under financial threat and without the funds raised from Mike Tyson's tour may be forced to close." says Rev Crews.
"We facilitate a number of projects with the aim to empower young Australians through education and literacy and so protect them against the prospect of future unemployment and homelessness". continues Rev Bill Crews. "We also run the Loaves and Fishes Free Restaurant food service providing almost 1000 meals a week to needy and homeless people. "
Through the Exodus Foundation Literacy Tutorial Centres they provide Education programs for the most disadvantaged Aboriginal children in need who have fallen behind their peers in reading and related literacy skills.
Rev Bill Crews work covers Sydney's Redfern and Ashfield, Gladstone in Queensland, Darwin, Melbourne and Perth.
