Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Entry to the competition is free (excluding internet charges) and is only open to entrants who are 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and their related entities are ineligible to enter.
The promotion is open to Australian residents 18 years and over only. The promotion commences at 12.01am (AEST) on 12 November 2012
and ends 11.59pm on 9 December 2012. This is a game of skill. Entrants in the Competition must provide a response to the given question “Tell us in 25 words or less why you’d like to travel to Gangnam Korea” in order to enter the Competition. This Response must be original to them and they must not copy the work of someone else. Entrants in the Competition own the copyright in their Response as its author.
To enter the promotion, participants must submit their personal details including first name, last name, e-mail address, state and contact number (optional) and provide a response as per clause 6 via the entry form at
www.travel.com.au between 12 November – 9 December 2012.
One entry is permitted per person.
By entering this Promotion, the entrant will be automatically subscribed to the travel.com.au database and will receive electronic messages from travel.com.au. All competition entrants must remain subscribed at the time of the Prize draw and Redraw (if a redraw occurs). An entrant may opt-out of receiving any future communications from travel.com.au, upon request.
travel.com.au shall be entitled to discard any entry (including, but not limited to, any Response) that: a. has been copied or plagiarised; b. is submitted after the Closing Date (see clause 5); c. which requires a proof of permission to enter but that proof cannot be obtained; or d. is in breach of the Terms and Conditions.
There is one Prize to be won. At the conclusion of the competition, a winner will be chosen on 11 December 2012 at 12:00pm (AEST) at Level 10, 17 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000 and the entry that is deemed to be the best, as judged by the Promoter in its sole discretion, will win the prize. The winner of the Prize will also be contacted by email by travel.com.au within 48 hours of the winner being chosen.
Should the winner remain uncontactable, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at 12:00pm (AEST) on 11 March 2013 at Level 10, 17 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000. Winners’ details will also be published on travel.com.au for a period of 3 months. The redrawn winner shall be notified on 11 March 2012 via phone (if contact number provided) and email. Conditions pertaining to the Korean Airlines flights are:
The prize is valid for yourself and a companion travelling together in both directions.
Prize winner seats are subject to availability.
Travel must be completed before 30 June 2013.
The flights must be booked 6weeks within winner receiving notification.
Valid on Korean Airlines services only over the specified routing and in the class of travel stated.
Tickets are non-transferable and non-endorseable for travel on any other airline.
The travel period cannot be extended beyond the expiry date.
Once the tickets have been issued they are valid only for the flights/dates shown.
Frequent Flyer points cannot be accrued on these tickets.
Tickets are confirmed travel however this is subject to off load in an over sale situation.

The maximum total value of the Prize pool is up to AU$4,000.
Spending money, meals, insurance, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included in the prize. The winner and his/her companion must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together. Itinerary to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. The winner may be required to present their credit card at time of accommodation check in. If for any reason the winner does not take the prize (or an element of the prize) at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.
The prize is valid for redemption for 6 months and will be dependent on the accommodation, airline and tour operators’ normal availability. The prize must be booked within 6 weeks of receiving it. Some blackout dates may apply including state school holidays and public holiday periods.
The Prize will be arranged by the Promoter. The prize is to be booked through the Promoter, with all details of the booking to be finalised within 6 weeks of the winner receiving notification.
The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for cash. Prizes must be taken as offered. No modifications or exchanges will be possible.
The Promoter expressly reserves the right to resolve any discrepancies, disputes or otherwise unforeseen circumstances as it deems fit and the Promoter's decision will be final and binding upon every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter expressly reserves the right to change or alter these Terms and Conditions at any time, subject to the approval of all relevant State and Territory Lottery Departments.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, misdirected or illegible submissions.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered by any entrant or winner (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
The Promoter shall not be responsible for any entries that are not received or are otherwise interfered with due to problems with the internet or telecommunications services.
Automated entry software or spamming that allows an entrant to enter multiple times is prohibited and all entries submitted by that entrant will be deemed invalid.
If this promotion is not capable of running as planned due to any reason, including unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) in its sole discretion to cancel the competition or to disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process.
