How to enter:

The Promotion
1. The Promotion is to spend a specified amount at participating stores in The Pines
Shopping Centre to obtain a scratch & win ticket (Scratch & Win Ticket) for a chance to:
(a) win an instant prize, with the total value of those prizes being $5,000; or
(b) to enter the Second Chance Draw prize of a shopping spree valued at $5,000
(Pines Shopping Spree).
2. The total prize pool value is $10,000.
The Promoter
3. The promoter is The Pines Shopping Centre (Qld) Pty Ltd ACN 055 299 637of PO Box
4100, Elanora, Qld 4221 (Promoter).
The Prizes
4. The instant prizes consist of:
(a) 200 x $10 Pines vouchers;
(b) 120 x $25 Pines vouchers;
5. The Second Chance Draw is for a Pines Shopping Spree comprising:
(a) a single $500 Coles voucher;
(b) a single $500 Kmart voucher;
(c) a single $500 Woolworths voucher; and
(d) $3,500 in Pines gift vouchers, for use in a specialty retail store.
How to Enter the Promotion
6. A Scratch & Win Ticket is available to any shopper who spends:
(a) $50 or more at any participating Pines Shopping Centre specialty retail store or
Kmart; or
(b) $100 or more at either The Pines Shopping Centre Coles Supermarket or The
Pines Shopping Centre Woolworths Supermarket,
each being an Eligible Transaction between 9.00am Monday 5 November 2012 and
4.00pm Sunday 9 December 2012 (Promotional Period).
7. The Promoter in its discretion may issue a voucher to any person who is a website member
of
www.thepineselanora.com.au (Website Member) during the Promotional Period.Page 2
8. Only Queensland and New South Wales residents are eligible to enter the competition or
win the prizes, and the following persons are not eligible:
(a) owners and managers of The Pines Shopping Centre,
(b) retailers of The Pines Shopping Centre; or
(c) contractors, including employees of contractors (including casual employees)
engaged at The Pines Shopping Centre; or
(d) the employees or contractors or immediate family members of the persons and
entities in paragraphs (a) and (b).
9. An 'immediate family member' of a person means any spouse, child, defacto or any other
family member residing at the same premises as that person.
10. To obtain an Scratch & Win ticket a person (Entrant) can collect a ticket:
(a) for purchases of
(i) $50.00 or more in one transaction at any Pines Shopping Centre specialty
retailer or Pines Kmart;
(ii) $100.00 or more at The Pines Shopping Centre Coles or Woolworths.
Each receipt can only be used once; or
(b) in exchange for redemption of a voucher issued by the Promoter to a Website
Member.
11. The Promoter may in its discretion nominate certain time periods during which shoppers
who make purchases may be issued with two Scratch & Win Tickets. These will be called
double entry time periods.
12. Payment for services (e.g. electricity, gas, telephone) registrations, (e.g. motor vehicle
registration) premiums (e.g. insurance and health fund premiums), rates, subscriptions
(e.g. ambulance subscriptions) deposits or payments to financial institutions and any
similar payment will not qualify as an Eligible Transaction.
13. To be valid, each entry must:
(a) be on a completed official Scratch & Win Ticket supplied by The Pines Shopping
Centre;
(b) contain the Entrant's full name, address and contact telephone number;
(c) be signed by the Entrant and, if the Entrant is under the age of 18, by a parent or
guardian of the Entrant; and
(d) be placed in the barrel provided by the Promoter during the relevant Promotional
Period.
Drawing and Delivery of Prize
14. The second chance draw will be conducted at 9.00am on Monday 10 December 2012 in
the Centre Management office at The Pines Shopping Centre (Second Chance Draw).
15. The first correct entry drawn in the draw is the winner of the Pines Shopping Spree (Prize
Winner).The Prize Winner need not be present at the time or place of the draw to win.Page 3
16. The Prize Winner must provide suitable identification to the Promoters’ satisfaction to be
entitled to claim the prize.
17. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for a variation in the value of the prizes.
18. The Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to notify the Prize Winner by telephone and
mail or otherwise.
19. The Promoter is not publishing the results of the competition in any newspaper or any other
media without permission from the winner.
20. If the Prize Winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the parent of
guardian of the Prize Winner who signed the entry form and that parent or guardian will be
the Prize Winner for the purposes of the competition.
21. The Promoter's decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in
relation to the conduct of the competition or otherwise.
22. The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
23. Scratch & Win Tickets are void if stolen, spoiled or tampered with in any way.
24. An unclaimed prize in the Second Chance Draw will be redrawn after a period of two
weeks.
25. There is no limit on the number of times a person may enter the competition.
26. If for any reason a winner does not redeem a Prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter,
then the prize will be forfeited.
27. There will be 10,000 Scratch & Win Tickets printed for the Promotion.
28. The Promotional Period may end earlier than advertised if the allocated number of Scratch
& Win Tickets is exhausted.
29. In the event that there are unclaimed Scratch & Win Tickets after the Promotional Period,
these will be destroyed and any unclaimed prizes shall be forfeited.
30. The Scratch & Win Tickets containing a % off offer from a participating Pines Retail store
must be redeemed by the end of this campaign at 4.00pm on Sunday 9 December 2012.
Retail stores may have their own conditions of use and the offer is not valid with any other
offer.
Other General Terms and Conditions
31. Printing and other quality-control errors will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim.
32. Unless otherwise due to fraud or ineligibility under these terms and conditions, all prize
claims in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured.
33. All entry forms remain the property of the Promoter and the Promoter agrees to keep
confidential all personal details obtained by the Promoter during the Promotional Period
and agrees that such information will be used for the purposes of the promotion only.
34. The Promoter accepts no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever
that may arise in any way from the use of the Prize. The Prize Winner must, on demand,
indemnify and keep indemnified, the Promoter, its subsidiaries, employees, advisers and Page 4
agents against all claims, losses, damages, costs and expenses reasonably or lawfully
suffered or incurred by the Promoter by reason of any loss, damage or injury incurred by
the Promoter arising out of this competition.
35. Under the Privacy Act the Promoter must tell you when it collects personal information
about you and how it will use it. If you choose to enter or take part in this competition, you
will be required to provide information about yourself.
36. The Promoter will collect and use the personal information you have provided for the
purpose of carrying out this competition.
37. If you prefer that the Promoter not use your details and/or retain your details, please
contact the Promoter on 07 5534 6722. You have a right to access most personal
information which the Promoter holds about you. The Promoter may deny your request for
access in some circumstances. If the Promoter does this, it will tell you why. If at any time
your details change or you would like to access your personal information please contact
