TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is only open to residents of NSW, VIC, SA, WA, QLD and ACT. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece ,nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
3. Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to all terms and conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to this Promotion.
4. The “Wreck it Ralph” online promotion commences on Saturday 01/12/2012 and closes 11:59pm AEST on Wednesday 02/01/2013 (“Promotional Period”).
5. One (1) winner will be selected from combined entries from both Hoyts Insider and Hoyts Rewards clubs and will be notified by 5pm on Thursday 17th January, 2013, via phone and in writing; via email. If the winner does not respond to contact made by Thursday 24th January 2013, by 5pm the prize will be forfeited and redrawn to the next available winner. No replacement prize will be given.
6. To enter, entrants must be a member of either the Hoyts Insider or Hoyts Rewards and visit
www.hoyts.com.au during the promotional period to purchase a ticket to ‘Wreck it Ralph’ and complete their online entry by answering in 25 words or less: “If you were an arcade game character who would you be and why?" Non-members can sign up to either the Hoyts Insider or Hoyts Rewards during the promotional period and complete the same entry process as outlined above.
7. Upon closing of the Competition, the membership of which participants were at time of entry must remain until prize fulfillment. If in the case, a Hoyts Insider member who has won a prize becomes a Hoyts Rewards prior to prize fulfillment, this upgrade will not be recognized. The member will receive the Hoyts Insider prize inclusions only. All future competitions entered whilst a Hoyts Rewards member, will gain access to the subject prize items.
8. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
9. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
10. One entry per member and per ticket purchased at
www.hoyts.com.au to ‘Wreck it Ralph’ arepermitted subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per member; (b) entry must be submitted by answering the promotional question in 25 words or less; and (c) entry must be submitted in accordance with entry requirements.
11. This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on literary and creative merit. All entries must be the original independent creation of the entrant and free of any claims that they infringe any third party rights. Entries must not have been published previously and/or have been used to win prizes in other competitions. The best valid entries from both Hoyts Insider and Hoyts Rewards Members will be judged by Hoyts Corporation as the best/most creative entries and only one will win the major prize. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. The judges reserve the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry which, in the opinion of the judges, includes objectionable content, including but not limited to profanity, nudity, potentially insulting, scandalous, inflammatory or defamatory images or language. The judge’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

14. The Promoter, prize provider and activity operators, in their absolute discretion, at all times reserve the right to: (a) prevent any winner and/or their companion from participating in the Activity if, at any time, they reasonably believe that they pose a safety risk or for any other reason; and/or (b) cancel the Activity if the conditions are deemed dangerous. (c) vary and/or substitute the prize (or part thereof) without notice with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a State and/or Territory regulatory authority.
15. As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner and companion must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or Prize Providers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
16. In the event that any prize item is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right, subject to the approval of any relevant trade lottery authority, to substitute a prize item of equal or greater value.
