In LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED, Philip (Pierce Brosnan) lives in Denmark as a lonely widower and estranged single father who is less than pleased with how his life turned out. Ida (Trine Dyrholm) is a Danish hairdresser who comes home from her final chemotherapy treatment to find that her husband has left her for a younger woman.
The two of them meet at the wedding of Philip's son and Ida's daughter and when the young couple's relationship hits rocky water, Ida and Philip are brought together to help make things right. Through their meeting, they learn the pains and joys of letting go, moving forward, and that there's always room in life for a second chance.
