Terms and Conditions Win $3000 Shopping Spree in Croydon Main St 2012Information on how to enter, how to claim, and details of the prize forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participating in this promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Entry in the promotion is open to all persons in Victoria who fulfil the entry requirements.
Any person under the age of 18 should obtain parent/guardian permission before entering this promotion.
The Promoter reserves the right, at anytime, to verify the validity of the entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, or who tampers with the entry process.
The winning entrant wins a $3000 shopping spree in Croydon Main St shopping precinct in those businesses that are members of the Croydon Main St Traders Association and contribute to the special rate scheme. The winner will be given Croydon Main St Shopping vouchers in various denominations totalling $3000.
The expiry date of the vouchers is 30 June 2013.
To claim the prize the winner must provide personal identification to confirm their identity and their details must match the competition entry details. If the official winner is under the age of 18, then proof of identity for both the official winner and their parent/guardian will be required to claim the prize.
The winner must claim the prize within 60 days of being confirmed as the competition winner. Failure to do so will deem them ineligible to collect the prize.
The prize will only be provided once the winner has verified their identity to the satisfaction of the promoter. Requests will not be accepted to transfer the prize to any other person or any other persons account or account name, other than the official winner of the competition, except if the official winner is under the age of 18, in which case the prize can be awarded to the winner’s parent or guardian. Proof of identity for both the official winner and their parent/guardian will be required when claiming the prize.
The promotion commences on Wednesday 14th November 2012 and entries close on Thursday 20th December 2012 at 1pm .
Entrants can enter as many times as they wish.
The prize draw will take place at 1pm Saturday 22 December, 2012, outside Ronald King, 122 – 124 Main St Croydon, 3136. The winner will be notified by telephone and in writing be it email or letter within 14 days of the draw.
Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
Multiple entries permitted, subject to each entry being submitted in accordance with entry requirements.
The first valid and complete entry drawn will be judged the winner and no further correspondence will be entered into.
Proof of identity is required when claiming prize. The winner must claim the prize within 60 days of being confirmed as the winner of the competition.
Claiming the prize is consent to use the winner’s full name, photograph and testimonial comments for marketing purposes. If the prize is not claimed within 3 months of the winner being notified, then a new winner will be drawn. The winner of the redraw will be notified by telephone and email.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including the officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity; whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction ( whether or not under the Promoters control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; and any loss of prize vouchers by the winner or others (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize.
If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned (whether caused by computer virus, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Promotion), the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant regulatory authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt in the Entry Boxes which are in each store that is participating in this promotion. The promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information either caused by website users or by any of the equipment used, or by any equipment used by intermediaries, service providers or business partners to facilitate this competition.
By entering this Promotion, entrants are providing consent for the Promoter to hold and use their personal information. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may disclose this information to third parties such as the Australian regulatory authorities. The Promoter may for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages, marketing communications, or telephoning entrants. Entrants must direct any request to access, update, remove, or correct information direct to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
