In the new James Bond film the villain is a megalomaniacal, fey blonde-haired, computer hacker who basically controls the internet via a vast bank of tricked-out laptops and threatens governments with divulging secrets they would rather keep, you know, secret. Most everyone assumes it is based on hometown hero Julian Assange, although at time of printing we were unable to confirm if Assange had ever tantalisingly fondled the chest of a British spy. As this docu-drama makes no explicit reference to such an incident so I can only assume Assange has somehow managed to wipe all record of it from the Google. You know, they have the internet on computers these days. Universal/Sony have supplied us with five DVD copies of Underground for your viewing pleasure if you can answer the following Yes/No question: Did US Vice President Al Gore invent the internet?
Email the editor with your name, phone number and address to see if you can pick up yourself a one of these.
