Europe’s favourite street, circus and physical theatre performers, D’Irque and Fien, will bring their acclaimed Oh Suivant! to Arts Centre Melbourne from Tuesday 15 – Sunday 27 January 2013.  Oh Suivant! is an intimate family-friendly show, jam-packed with juggling and circus tricks, jaw-dropping acrobatics and playful audience interaction. 
Inspired by the slapstick and physical comedy of silent movies, Oh Suivant! is a modern-day clowning farce reminiscent of Charlie Chaplin. After years of intense training in circus arts and twelve years of experience in street theatre in over twenty countries, D’Irque and Fien present the Australian premiere of their street-wise blend of circus, physical theatre and live music in a Melbourne-exclusive season.
Dirk Van Boxelaire (D’Irque) was born in 1970 in Belgium and began his circus career at the age of 24, after four years of music studies as a percussionist. Van Boxelaire’s acts have been staged at the Vieilles Charrues in Carhaix, Street Festival of Aurillac, Chainon Manquant in Figeac, European Theater Festival of Grenoble, Madrid Street Festival, and Sinterklaasfeest in Brussels.
Fien Van Herwegen was born in 1980 in Belgium.  Van Herwegen began her studies in music in 1998 at the Hogeschool Schone Kunsten in St-Lucas Anvers in Belgium, where she studied piano. Soon after, Van Herwegen turned to improvisation and street performance, and during the three years from 1999 to 2003, she participated in the BIL Liga, an improvisational league in Belgium, before joining D’Irque on Oh Suivant! in 2005.
