CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: The BMW or Cash MGF Promotion January 2013
Promoter: Jupiters Limited ABN 78 010 741 045 trading as Treasury Brisbane, top of the Queen Street Mall, Brisbane QLD 4001 ph (07) 3306 8888 (“Treasury”).
Promotion period
1. The BMW or Cash Main Gaming Floor Promotion (“Promotion”) will be held at Treasury, commencing 2pm on Tuesday 1 January 2013 and finishing at the conclusion of the 7pm Prize Draw on Saturday 2 February 2013 (“Promotion Period”). All times are listed in Australian Eastern Standard time.
2. A total of six (6) Winners will be drawn on the Main Gaming Floor, Level 1 at Treasury (“Draw Location”) during the Promotion Period. Prize Draw will be held at 7pm (each a “Prize Draw”) on Tuesday 1 January 2013 and Saturday 5, 12, 19, 26 January 2013 and 2 February 2013 (each a “Draw Day”) with one (1) winner drawn at each Prize Draw.
Entry requirements
3. Participation in the Promotion is open to all persons who:
(a) are 18 years of age or older;
(b) are members of the Absolute Rewards Loyalty program operated by
the Promoter and who have a current Absolute Rewards Membership
card (“Membership Card”); and
(c) are not under a self-exclusion order, an exclusion direction or other
direction under Part 10 of the Casino Control Act 1982 (Qld).
People who meet the above conditions and continue to satisfy the conditions during the Promotion Period are referred to as “Eligible Entrants” and will be entitled to enter the Promotion.
4. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any person entry in the Promotion.
Prize Draw Entry
5. Eligible Entrants will be eligible for one (1) entry for every Casino Dollar earned for gaming machine play or rated table play during the following times (each a “Entry Period”):
a. 2pm Tuesday 1 January 2013 to 6.45pm Tuesday 1 January 2013 to enter the 7pm Prize Draw on Tuesday 1 January 2013
b. 2pm Saturday 5 January 2013 to 6.45pm Saturday 5 January 2013 to enter the 7pm Prize Draw on Saturday 5 January 2013

d. 2pm Saturday 19 January 2013 to 6.45pm Saturday 19 January 2013 to enter the 7pm Prize Draw on Saturday 19 January 2013

6. Only CASINO DOLLARS earned during the Entry Periods will be converted to entries into the relevant Prize Draw. CASINO DOLLARS awarded as part of any other promotion or offer will not be included for the purposes of calculating entries for inclusion into any Prize Draw.
7. Entries to a Prize Draw can be generated by:
a. on gaming machine play, the Eligible Entrant correctly inserting their Membership Card into the gaming machine, recording the required volume of play and removing their Membership Card from the gaming machine during the Entry Period; or
b. on rated table game play, the Eligible Entrant providing their Membership Card to the table game dealer upon commencement of play within the Entry Period. The Eligible Entrant’s table game play will be entered via TableLink, electronically uploaded into the Casino Management System upon recording the required volume of play. An Eligible Entrant’s session of table play ends when the table game dealer swipes their Membership Card to finish off their play (failure to do this may result in an entry not being available for inclusion in any Prize Draw). It is the Eligible Entrant’s responsibility to request the table game dealer to finish off their session of play so that their Prize Draw Entry may be included in the next Prize Draw.
8. Eligible Entrants who have earned entries in accordance with Conditions 5, 6 and 7 must swipe their Membership card at a member kiosk during the Prize Draw Entry Period on a Prize Draw Day to be eligible to enter that day’s Prize Draw.
9. Entries in a Prize Draw generated according to the Conditions of Entry (“Prize Draw Entry”) will be included in the Prize Draw for that day only.
Prize Draw
10. Each Prize Draw Entry will be automatically allocated a unique individual entry number using the Casino Management System. The number range programmed into an approved Random Number Generator (“RNG”) will be set for each Prize Draw to include all the entry numbers for Prize Draw Entries included in that Prize Draw.
11. At each Prize Draw, the name and membership number of one (1) Eligible Entrant will be selected by random selection using the relevant entry numbers for that Prize Draw (each a “Selected Entrant”). The name and membership number of each Selected Entrant will be announced at the Draw Location. Selected Entrant must be “present at the Prize Draw” pursuant to Condition 13.
12. The promoter cannot guarantee that announcements can be heard in all parts of the Draw Location or throughout the remainder of Treasury.
13. To be deemed “present at the Prize Draw”, the Selected Entrant must present themselves to a Treasury representative at the Draw Location or the Sovereign Room Desk, Level 2, within three (3) minutes of their name being announced and provide suitable identification in accordance with Conditions 27 or 28 within five (5) minutes of presenting themselves. The Selected Entrant is not permitted to send a proxy to claim a Prize. Selected Entrants that are “present at the Prize Draw” will be eligible to win a Prize (each a “Winner”). There will be one (1) Winner at each Prize Draw.
14. If a Selected Entrant at a Prize Draw does not satisfy Condition 11 or does not otherwise satisfy these Conditions of Entry, the Promoter will immediately conduct up to ten (10) re-draws at the Draw Location if required to find a Selected Entrant who is “present at the Prize Draw”. If after ten (10) re-draws, a Selected Entrant who satisfies Condition 13 has not been found, the Selected Entrant who was drawn at that Prize Draw (but who did not satisfy Condition 13) will not be required to comply with Condition 13 (“Default Winner”).
15. The Promoter will notify Default Winners of their win by telephone or mail in accordance with the details provided on their entry form or member records held by the Promoter and Default Winners will be required to collect their Prize from the Sovereign Room Desk and provide identification in accordance with Conditions 27 or 28 at the time of collection.
Prizes
16. At each Prize Draw the Prize Draw Winner, will subject to compliance with these Conditions of Entry, be eligible to win their choice of one of the following prizes(each a “Draw Prize”).
a. 2012 BMW 116i Hatch model (as further described in Condition 19) (a Winner who chooses this prize will be a “Car Prize Winner”);
b. $30,000 Cash (a Winner who chooses this prize will be a “Cash Prize Winner”).
17. Total Prize Pool for the Promotion is $259,134 (based on all six Winners selecting the Car Prize as their prize).
18. Cash Prize Winners may choose to take their Draw Prize in the form of cash or a cheque or a combination of both.
19. The car prize is a 2012 BMW 116i Hatch model with non-metallic paint and no optional extras valued at $43,189 (per car), including 12 months QLD registration and compulsory third party insurance for 12 months with Allianz, insurance and stamp duty (including GST, dealer delivery and statutory charges) (“Car Prize”).
20. The Car Prize will be supplied by Brisbane BMW, 800 Ann Street, Fortitude Valley, QLD, 4006 (“Dealer”).
21. In relation to the Car Prize, any additional insurance, optional extras, petrol and all other ancillary costs are not included in the Car Prize and are the responsibility of the Car Prize Winner. If the Car Prize Winner has any requests in relation to the Car Prize (including alternative colour), the Car Prize Winner should directly consult with the Dealer. The Dealer may accommodate these preferences or requests, subject to availability at the Dealer’s absolute discretion.
22. The Car Prize Winner acknowledges that if they wish to arrange a buyback in relation to the Car Prize, they will be responsible for negotiating such buyback with the Dealer. The Promoter shall not be part of any buyback.
23. The Promoter does not make any representation about the nature, suitability specifications (technical or otherwise), quality and features of the Car Prize.
24. The Car Prize Winner must collect the Car Prize from the Dealer. The Car Prize Winner agrees that the Car Prize may not be immediately available subject to a lead time. The Car Prize Winner agrees to consult with the Dealer in respect of when their Car Prize will be available for collection.
25. Once the Car Prize has been selected it cannot be exchanged for alternate prizes or offers, is not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash, unless agreed separately with the Dealer.
26. If the Car Prize Winner fails to take possession of the Car Prize within 3 months of the relevant Prize Draw, the Promoter will deem the Car Prize Winner to have forfeited their entitlement to the prize or any other prize in the Promotion.
Identification
27. An Eligible Entrant whose entry is drawn in any Prize Draw (“Selected Entrant”) must produce valid acceptable identification to a representative of the Promoter to confirm their eligibility to win a prize. Valid identification acceptable to the Promoter will be either one form of valid photographic identification (Passport or Australian driver’s licence) with an undamaged clearly visible photograph, or two other forms of non-photographic identification acceptable to the Promoter.
28. The Promoter reserves the right to waive or vary the identification requirements at its sole discretion in circumstances where the identity of a Selected Entrant is
determinable by a representative of the Promoter without the assistance of these or any other form of identification.
General
29. Directors, management and employees of the Echo Entertainment Group of companies (including any related body corporate as defined in the Corporations Act 2001) and their immediate families, which has the meaning given to that phrase in the Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Rule 1999 (Qld) are not eligible to participate in this Promotion. The Echo Entertainment Group comprises, but is not limited to the businesses of The Star Casino, Jupiters Hotel and Casino, Treasury Casino and Hotel and Jupiters Townsville.
30. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for alternate prizes. Any tax liability or implication which attaches to a prize is the responsibility of the Minor Prize Draw Winner and Major Prize Draw.
31. The Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered or claimed (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss or damage, personal injury or death, and direct or indirect loss or damage) by an entrant in relation to entering or participating in this Promotion or taking or using the prizes offered except where that loss, damage or injury was caused by breach of these terms and conditions by the Promoter or the wilful or negligent acts or omissions of the Promoter. To avoid any doubt, the Promoter shall not be liable for loss caused by technical and mechanical malfunction which is outside the control of the Promoter.
32. Conduct of the entire Promotion, including decisions on the eligibility of persons to enter and validity of entry and prizes, shall be the responsibility of the Promoter.
33. To the extent that a situation or issue arises for which these terms and conditions make no provision or in relation to which the relevant terms and conditions are unclear, the Promoter reserves the right to make a decision regarding such situation or issue which is not inconsistent with these terms and conditions.
34. While the Promoter intends to conduct the Promotion as offered, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or change the Promotion or a prize offered in the Promotion if it can no longer continue the Promotion or offer a prize due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s control.
35. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late or non-received entries. The Promoter does not guarantee the continuous or fault-free operation of the entry processes, including entry validating and receipting processes, during the Promotion.
36. Any entrant who tampers, or attempts to tamper, with the entry processes or tampers, or attempts to tamper with the processes used for the draws or who submits an entry which is not valid in accordance with these terms will be subject to disqualification at the discretion of the Promoter.
37. Selected Entrants may be asked to participate in publicity or advertising at the request of the Promoter. Participation in any such publicity or advertising is at the
sole discretion of the relevant Selected Entrant. The names of Selected Entrant will not be published without their consent except as announced at the Draw Location.
38. Participation in the Promotion indicates acceptance of the terms and conditions governing the Promotion. These terms and conditions will be available at the Customer Service Desk at the Treasury Casino throughout the Promotion Period.
39. By participating in this Promotion, each entrant’s entry/entries becomes the property of the Promoter and may be used for the Promoter’s business analysis and marketing purposes in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy statement which can be viewed at
www.treasurybrisbane.com.au. Privacy law allows entrants to access their personal information held by the Promoter in certain circumstances. Failure to supply the personal information requested may result in an entry being deemed invalid.
