If the winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or legal guardian on behalf of the winner. It is the responsibility of the winner’s parent/legal guardian to prove their parental status/ legal guardianship at the time of winner notification. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a person/s mistakenly represents themselves to be a winners parent and/or legal guardian, then that person will be liable for all costs associated with relocating and/or re-awarding the prize (including but not limited to and administrative fees incurred by the Promoter). Only one entry per person will be permitted.The promotion commences on 31st December 2012 and closes 23:59 AEST on 3rd February 2013. The judging will be done by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter. The judging will take place at the Promoter’s premises 54 Park Street, Sydney NSW and will begin on 8th February 2013. The winner will be notified by telephone and in writing using the contact details given in their entry.

This is a game of skill, chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on its literary and creative merit of the answer to the question provided. The judges’ decision in relation to any aspect of the competition will be final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.
The Entrant warrants to the Promoter that the entry submitted is an original artistic work of the Entrant that does not infringe the rights of any third parties. If the entry or any part of the information provided to the Entrant in relation to the entry was provided by a third party, the Entrant warrants that they have obtained the relevant copyright permission to submit the entry for the purposes of this promotion. The Promoter is entitled to use any of the entries submitted in any manner and for any purpose at its absolute discretion, including using the entries for future promoter’s or their agents book publications, promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant. In the event the winner is a resident of Sydney, the flight component of the prize will not be included.
The Total prize pool is valued at up to $5420.00 (depending on point of departure). Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize are not included. These are the responsibility of the winner.
Prize must be redeemed in full and as a package by 3rd May 2013. Travel times are subject to availability, and the Promoter will provide reasonable assistance to the winner to arrange suitable travel dates and times.
In the event the winner is under 18 years, the winner must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian when redeeming the prize.
Vouchers are valid for six (6) months from the date of issue. Redemption of the voucher prizes are be subject to the terms and conditions stipulated on the voucher. The Promoter will not be liable for any voucher that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming avoucherare not included. Any unused balance of thevoucherwill not be awarded as cash.
Any additional costs outside of the allocated amount for the Dinner or Toni & Guy Salon will be the responsibility of the winner.
The hair component of the prize is subject to the availability at the time of booking. The Promoter makes no guarantees to the availability and choice of hair dresser is determined by the promoter in its complete discretion. This component of the prize must be taken to coincide with the redemption date of the prize. This component of the prize cannot be booked separately.
The exact date and time of the styling session component of the prize will be redeemed will be subject to the Cosmopolitan Fashion Team schedules and other various factors determined at the complete discretion of the Promoter. No correspondence with be entered into. The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any loss or damage suffered in the event that the Styling session is postponed, rescheduled or cancelled for any reason whatsoever. The Promoter makes no guarantees of any particular member of Cosmopolitan Fashion Team at the scheduled time of the styling session.
The winner (and their companions) are responsible for all other expenses including spending money, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges and all other ancillary costs.
Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses (including travel to and from the departure point) become the responsibility of the winner.
The two (2) flights must be utilized at the same time, for the same travel dates, to the same destination.
Transport to and from Departure point including but not limited to additional Domestic airfares if required, any additional meals, any extra sightseeing or activities, any additional accommodation, personal spending money, and all other ancillary costs, as well as obtaining any of these, are the responsibility of the winner and their travel companions. Prize also excludes medical expenses, items of a personal nature, beverages, optional tours not outlined, laundry, telephone calls, additional nights, room upgrades or other ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize other than those specified. These costs and expenses are the responsibility of the winner. Any extension to the duration of the prize is at the winner’s sole expense and subject to availability at the time of booking. For the removal of doubt, taxes for domestic travel are included in the prize winning domestic airfares provided by the Promoter.
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be requested to present their credit card upon arrival to hotel to cover all incidentals they may incur including their stay.
Redemption of prizes is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. Prizes do not include any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize.
Prize must be taken as offered. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer. The prize is valued in Australian dollars. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. All elements of the prize are subject to availability with no cash alternative and the prize package is non-transferable and non-refundable. Winner(s) cannot change, vary, substitute or extend any element of the prize (in whole or in part).
