ON PREMISE CONSUMER PROMOTION 2012
FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Instructions on how to enter and information on the promotion and major prize draw form part of
these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms
and Conditions.
2. The promotion is only open to individuals who:
(a) are Australian residents residing in Australia(b) are aged 18 years or over
(c) have a valid mailing address; and
(d) purchase the relevant eligible products from The Sydney Rowing Club during the promotional
period
3. Employees (and their partners) of the Promoter, participating retailers and agencies associated
with this promotion are ineligible to claim or enter.
4. The promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims or entries and entrants
(including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who
submits a prize claim or entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who
tampers with the prize claim or entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the
Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not
constitute a waiver of those rights.
5. Incomplete, indecipherable or incorrect prize claims or entries will be deemed invalid.
6. The “Entry Period” commences 9am Monday 29 October 2012 and closes Thursday 31 January
2013 at 11.59pm (AEST).
7. To be eligible to enter, individuals must purchase either one (1) glass or one (1) bottle of any of the
following eligible products: Glenbawn Red, Glenbawn White, Moore’s Creek Sauvignon Blanc,
Moore’s Creek Cabernet Sauvignon, Chateau de Sours Rose, Chateau de Sours Sparkling Rose,
Chateau de Sours Rouge, Ra Nui Sauvignon Blanc, Ra Nui Pinot Gris, Trout Valley Sauvignon
Blanc, Brokenback Shiraz, Moon Mountain Chardonnay, Old Winery Cab Merlot , Old Winery Pinot
Noir, Old Winery Verdelho, Tyrrell’s Pinot Noir Chardonnay Brut, Vat 47 Chardonnay, Rufus Stone
Cabernet Malbec, Rufus Stone McLaren Vale Shiraz, Lunatiq Shiraz, Fordwich Verdelho from the
Sydney Rowing Club and associated restaurants or bars, located at 613 Great North
Road Abbotsford NSW 2046.
8. To enter this promotion, entrants must, during the Entry Period, complete the promotion entry form
and submit at the venue.
9. Photocopied entries and entries submitted via fax, email or mail will not be accepted. All entries in
the promotion must be entered by 11.59pm Thursday 31 January 2013.
10. Each valid entry received will automatically go into the draw to win one (1) Tyrrell’s Wine Hamper
containing one (1) Vintec V30SGME Classic 30 bottle wine cabinet, a set of twelve (12) Reidel
Overture glasses, two (2) bottles of each of the following current vintage wines: Vat 1 Semillon,
Vat 47 Chardonnay, Vat 8 Shiraz Cabernet, Vat 9 Shiraz, Lunatiq Shiraz, Stevens Single vineyard
Semillon, Stevens Single Vineyard Shiraz, Tyrrell’s Pinot Noir Chardonnay Brut, Ra Nui Sauvignon
Blanc, Ra Nui Pinot Gris, Trout Valley Pinot Gris, Arabella Rose Sparkling (24 x 750ml bottles
total), one (1) Tyrrell’s stainless steel single bottle cooler, two (2) Tyrrell’s black bib aprons, two (2)
Tyrrell’s navy polo shirts, two (2) Tyrrell’s baseball caps and two (2) Tyrrell’s single bottle cooler
bags.
11. Entrants may enter multiple times during the promotional period in accordance with the entry
requirements, limited to one (1) entry per person per day.
12. It is the sole and absolute discretion of the Promoter to determine the validity of prize claims.
Entrants must retain their purchase receipt(s) for all claims as proof of purchase. The Promoter
takes no responsibility for receipt(s) which may be lost or damaged. Failure to produce the proof of
purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in
invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize.
13. Total prize value for the promotion is $2005.74.
14. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash with the Promoter.
15. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
16. Entrants are responsible for ensuring their correct contact and address details are provided and
any updated details are notified to the Promoter. The Promoter accepts no responsibility should the
entrant fail to receive their prize because of a failure to notify the Promoter of the change to these
details.
17. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably
anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter
reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any
entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend,
terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
18. The Promoter encourages consumers to enjoy responsibly. Legal aged consumers are advised to
consider the safe drinking levels recommended by the National Health & Medical Research Council
of Australian Alcohol Guidelines that are available at
www.nhmrc.gov.au19. The Prize draw will take place at 12pm Monday 4 February 2013 at Sydney Rowing Club, 613
Great North Road Abbotsford NSW 2046. One (1) winner will be drawn manually at random and
subsequently notified by telephone and email within two (2) days of the end of the promotion. The
prize will be sent via Australia Post to the nominated address on the entry form. A full list of winners
will be published on
www.tyrrells.com.au on Wednesday 6 February 2013. Should the Prize be
unclaimed by the initial winner after three (3) months, a redraw will take place at the same time and
location listed above on Monday 1 April 2012. Winners will be subsequently notified by telephone
and email. A list of redraw winners will be published on
www.tyrrells.com.au .
20. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its offices,
employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury, or any
loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential,
arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the
following; (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the
Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any claim,
entry, prize that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or nor after their receipt by
the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any tax liability
incurred by an entrant; (e) force majeure, or (f) use of the prize.
21. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion correctly and may, for
this purpose, disclose such information to third parties such as suppliers and as required, to
Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional providing this information. The Promoter may,
for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing
and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the claimant. Entrants
should direct any subsequent request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All
entries become the property of the Promoter.
