Double Passes to Australia’s Silent Film Festival (Sydney only)Score some movie magic by revisiting some of Charlie Chaplin’s classic works.
In January, Australia’s Silent Film Festival will run a special tribute to The Birth of the Iconic Tramp: Charlie Chaplin and his Genius, 1914-1917. This event runs over the four Sundays of January and will feature three sessions daily, each of approximately an hour’s duration. These sessions – which feature 24 classic comedy shorts from his start at the Keystone Studio and his treasures at the Essanay and Mutual Studios – trace the rise of one of the world’s greatest cultural artists. The festival will screen digital presentations of the restored films with soundtracks.
