Celebrity Cruises Australia and New Zealand Facebook Launch Competition

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.  OPEN ONLY TO PERMANENT LEGAL RESIDENTS OF AUSTRALIA & NZ, WHO ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT THE TIME OF ENTRY.  VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules.  The Celebrity Cruises Facebook Competition for Australia & NZ (the “Promotion”) commences at 12:00:00 AM AEST Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney Time on 29th October 2012 and ends at 11:59:59 PM AEST on 31st January 2013. All Entries (“Entries” or “Entry”) must be received by 11:59:59 PM AEST Canberra, Melbourne, and Sydney Time on 31st January 2013. All Entries received after the expiration of the Promotion Period will not be accepted and will be destroyed.

The Promotion is administered and sponsored by RCL Cruises Ltd, Level 2, 80 Arthur Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060. ABN 33 133 829 302.

Eligibility:

Open only to permanent legal residents of Australia and New Zealand who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.  VOID ELSEWHERE AND WHERE PROHIBITED.  Employees, officers, and directors of Promoter Entities and their respective parent companies, affiliated companies, and subsidiaries, franchisees, advertising and promotion agencies and fulfilment or judging agencies (collectively, the “Promotion Entities”) and their immediate families (i.e., parents, spouse, children, siblings, grandparents, step parents, step children and step siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and members of the same household (whether or not related) are not eligible to enter the Promotion.

How to Enter:

To enter the Promotion, an Entrant (“Entrant”) must complete the following entry method:

Facebook: During the Promotion Period, visit the Celebrity Cruises Australia & NZ page on Facebook located at http://www.Facebook.com/celebritycruisesausnz to register for the Promotion by following the on-screen instructions to: (a) LIKE the Page.  If you already like the page, you may go directly to the Competition tab to continue; (b) submit your top 3 onboard activities (c) register for the Promotion by providing your province or state, name, email address, and phone number, and (d) electronically agree and accept these Official Rules (collectively, the “Facebook Entry”).  This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook.

Any Entrant who attempts to participate with multiple e-mail and/or street addresses, under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to enter multiple times in violation of applicable Entry limitations may be disqualified.  Any use of robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed or similar Entry methods or agents will void all Entries made by, or associated with, the applicable Entrant.  Incomplete or inaccurate Entries shall be deemed void.

All registrations/entries must be postmarked or received by no later than 11:59:59 PM AEST Canberra, Melbourne, and Sydney Time on 31st January 2013. In the event of any dispute regarding the identity of a person submitting an Entry, the registration will be deemed submitted by the authorised e-mail account holder of the Facebook account, which is defined for purposes of these Official Rules as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organisation that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.

Use of Information Provided:

By entering, you agree and understand that you are providing your information to the Promoter Entities and not Facebook. The information you provide will be used only for purposes of administering the Promotion in accordance with Promoter’s privacy policy, which is available at: http://www.celebritycruises.com/footer/legalInformation.do?pagename=footer_pages_privacy_policy. By entering the Promotion, you represent and warrant that you have read and agree to the terms of the Celebrity Cruises Privacy Policy.

Winner Selection:

The determination of the final prize winner will be made on Monday 4th February 2013 at Level 2, 80 Arthur Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060 at 3:00pm. RCL Cruises Ltd reserves the right to choose the winner of the final prize. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Winners will be notified by phone, email and on Celebrity Cruises Australia & NZ Facebook Page within 5 (five) working days.

Prize:

12 night cruise for two people with Celebrity Cruises on Celebrity Solstice departing on 16 March 2013 from Auckland, and disembarking in Sydney Harbour. Prize does not include airfares to/from the cruise’s embarkation and/or disembarkation port, is subject to availability, and has a recommended retail value of up to AU$$4,990 (cruise only based on double occupancy). Transfers and pre/post-cruise hotel accommodation is not included. Personal purchases on board the ship (e.g. beverages, spa, shopping) are at the prize winner’s expense. Each cruise is valid for two passengers and no additional passengers are permitted to share the cabin. The value of the cruise fare is based on the lead-in Ocean view grade cabin and no upgrades are permitted. The prize is not transferrable to any other ship, cruise or date than those listed above. The prizewinner will be subject to the booking terms and conditions as outlined in the Celebrity Cruises’ Australia, New Zealand & South Pacific 2012 - 2014 Brochure. RCL Cruises Ltd reserves the right to change the prize inclusions at any time.

Prize is not transferable and may not be given, bartered, sold, or exchanged for cash or for another prize, except at Promoter’s sole discretion due to prize unavailability for any reason and then only for a prize of equal or greater value. Prize not won and claimed by eligible winners in accordance with the Official Rules will not be awarded and will remain the property of RCL Cruises Ltd.

General Terms:

Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Promotion, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Promoter’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion, as determined by Promoter in its sole discretion.  Promoter and its agencies are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen, misdirected, or illegible entries; lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, or other connections, garbled transmissions or miscommunications, telephone transmission problems; computer or software malfunctions or damage to a user’s computer equipment (software or hardware); technical failures; or other errors or malfunctions of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, or otherwise.  Proof of sending or submission of Entry will not be deemed proof of receipt by Promoter.  Promoter’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.  Promoter reserves the right to permanently disqualify from the Promotion any person it believes has intentionally violated these official rules.

WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW, AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, PROMOTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.  Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be attempting to tamper with or undermine the entry process, any web site associated with the Promotion, and/or the legitimate operation of the Promotion; to violate the Official Rules; or to act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person.  If, for any reason, the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, Promoter may, in its sole discretion, void any suspect entries and (a) modify the Promotion or suspend the Promotion to address the impairment and then resume the Promotion in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) cancel the promotion and award the prize at random from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment.
