GLAD® BACK TO SCHOOL PROMOTION
Do you send your kids to school with secret messages in their lunchbox? Will you be creating a special lunchbox moment to make the first day back at school a little easier? When you were at school, did your mum do anything to your lunch that put a smile on your face?
To celebrate the start of a new school year we want you to share your favourite school lunchbox moments. There are daily prizes ($100 Westfield gift cards) AND you could win a family holiday on the Gold Coast valued at over $2,000.
To enter, simply tell us in 30 words or less your favourite or most memorable school lunchbox moment. The best entry each day will be awarded a $100 gift card from Westfield. All daily winning entries will then be judged by the team at GLAD to identify the best Lunchbox Moment and the best entry will WIN a Family Holiday for 2 adults and 2 kids to the Gold Coast - including unlimited entry for 28 days to Gold Coast's Big 3 Theme Parks - Warner Bros. Movie World, Sea World and Wet'n'Wild Water World
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information regarding prizes and instructions on how to participate in this promotion form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions restricts, excludes, modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
2. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Employees, directors and officers of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion (and each of their immediate families) are ineligible to enter.
3. Promotion commences at AEDST 11.01am on 14/01/13 and ends at AEDST 11.59pm on 1/2/2013 (“Promotional Period”).
4. To enter, during the Promotional Period, entrants must:
a) visit the GLAD® Facebook page at www.facebook.com/gladaustralia;
b) ‘Like’ the page (if not already ‘liked’);
c) access the ‘Lunchbox Moments’ Facebook application;
d) input the requested details (including email address and residential address); and
e) provide an original answer, in 30 words or less on your most memorable/favourite school lunchbox moment.
5. Entries must be received during the Promotional Period and each entrant may only enter once a day. Multiple daily entries are not permitted. Entries received before 11.59pm AEDST on any given day during the Promotional Period will be eligible for the daily minor prize. Each day from 15/01/2013 to 02/02/2013 the Promoter’s judging panel will review all valid entries received during the previous day and each entry will be individually judged based on originality and creative merit. The judging panel will award 1 x Westfield gift card to the value of $100 per day to the best entry of the day. 19 minor prizes will be awarded in total. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners.
6. After each daily judging, the pool of entries will be cleared and only entries received by the Promoter after the judging will be eligible for the next daily judging.

7. The 19 x minor prize winning entrants will be notified by email by 6pm AEDST the following day of posting their entry, commencing 15 January 2013 and ending on 2 February 2013.
8. Subject to condition11, on 8 February 2013 the judging panel will review all 19 winning daily entries the valid entry judged to be the best overall entry will win the major prize, being a family holiday for 4 (2 adults, 2 kids aged between 2-11 years old) – including accommodation, return travel and unlimited entry for 28 days into Warner Bros. Movie World, Sea World and Wet'n'Wild Water World (valued at up to $2,605)
9. Gift cards are subject to expiry and any terms and conditions imposed by the supplier. Gift cards cannot be redeemed for further gift cards and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, coupon or offer.
10. For the major prize, the overall winner will receive:
• 4 x Village Roadshow Theme Parks - Super Pass – providing unlimited entry for 28 days to the Gold Coast's Big 3 Theme Parks - Warner Bros. Movie World, Sea World and Wet'n'Wild Water World
• Return travel to and accommodation in the Gold Coast for a family of four (2 adults and 2 children aged between 2-11 years old). The number of nights of accommodation included in the major prize will depend on the cost of travel from the winner’s place of departure and the type of accommodation chosen by the winner, and is subject to a maximum total travel and accommodation cost of $2,129.
• Booking will be made by the Promoter through Blue Holidays (see: http://www.virginaustralia.com/au/en/bookings/holidays/holiday-packages). While every effort will be made to meet the winner’s desired travel dates, travel and accommodation will be subject to availability.
11. All prize values are the recommended retail value (including GST) in Australia as provided by the supplier and are correct at the time of printing.
12. It is a condition of being eligible to receive a prize that entrants ensure that the nominees selected by entrants to share the prize agree to:
a) the same terms and conditions set out in this document; and
b) for the major prize, allow and facilitate the booking of travel and accommodation within 30 days of notification of the winner.
The Promoter can do what it deems necessary to satisfy itself that such agreement has been obtained. If agreement cannot be obtained from nominees, the relevant entry will be deemed not to comply with these Terms and Conditions, the entrant and nominees will not be entitled to receive a prize and a new winner will be selected.
13. The major prize winning entrant and nominees will be notified by email by close of business on 15/02/2013.
14. The winning entrants’ and nominees’ names may also be published on Facebook at www.facebook.com/gladaustralia, and the entrants and nominees consent to such publication.

15. Entries that are found to have been derived from third party work will be considered invalid and, if awarded a prize, that prize must be returned to the Promoter. Without limiting the generality of other conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to take legal action against anyone found to have breached this condition. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages and other compensation are reserved.
16. Each entrant warrants and agrees that:
a) the entrant has created the entry them self;
b) the entrant is entitled to reproduce and exploit all of the underlying works in the entry;
c) the entrant will not submit material in their entry that is copyrighted, protected by trade secret or otherwise subject to third party proprietary rights, including privacy and publicity rights, unless the entrant is the owner of such rights;
d) the entry has not been previously published in any other medium or forum worldwide;
e) they will not submit material that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, derogatory, threatening, pornographic, sexually inappropriate, violent, abusive, harassing, hateful, racially, religiously or ethnically offensive, or encourages, evidences or indicates conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, gives rise to civil liability, or violates any law;
f) the entry will not cause injury or harm to any person or entity; and
g) the entrant has not granted rights to their entry to any other person which is inconsistent with the rights granted to the Promoter.
17. Each entrant consents to the Promoter (and each of its assignees and licensees) doing or omitting to do anything which may infringe any and all moral rights of the entrant including to edit, alter and reproduce the entry, and that such consents have been obtained to the full extent permitted under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).
18. As a condition of accepting a prize, each winner agrees to:
a) if required by the Promoter, sign a statutory declaration regarding the originality of their entry; and
b) irrevocably and unconditionally assign to the Promoter all of his/her right, title and interest (including without limitation all intellectual property rights such as present and future copyright) in and to the winning entry and to sign a document (in a form to be determined by the Promoter) to acknowledge this assignment to the Promoter.
19. Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Promoter (any each of its assignees and licensees) have the right, in their absolute discretion, to edit, amend, copy, use, publish, broadcast and communicate to the public, the entry in any media including the internet, without any further consultation, reference, payment or any other compensation to the entrant. All entries may feature in a Lunchbox Moments gallery housed on GLAD’s facebook fan page.
20. Entries are deemed to be received at the time they are received by the Promoter’s database and not at the time of submission by the entrant.
21. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including the entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant

who the Promoter believes has submitted an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or has tampered with or manipulated the entry process or the operation of the promotion. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter’s discretion. Entrants who enter using multiple email addresses or aliases may be disqualified. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
22. Incomplete or indecipherable entry forms will be deemed invalid. The Promoter’s decision in relation to all aspects of this promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Unless otherwise agreed, entrant prizes will be sent to the winners’ Australian residential addresses, as specified on their entry form within 28 days of emailing notification to each winner. The Promoter will contact the major prize winning nominee using contact details as specified by the entrant during entry, to arrange the booking of travel and accommodation within 30 days of winner notification.
23. Entrants are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook and entrants completely release Facebook from any and all liability in connection with this promotion.
24. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter (including but not limited to by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering with or manipulation of the entry process or conduct of the promotion, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures) the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law to terminate, modify, cancel or suspend the promotion, or invalidate any affected entries, as appropriate.
25. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter their details and enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
26. If an entry is deemed by the Promoter to not to comply with these Terms and Conditions, the entry will be discarded and removed from the Lunchbox Moments Gallery. The entrant will not receive a communication in this regard. No correspondence will be entered into. All entries become the property of the Promoter. In the event of a prize not being accepted or claimed, the judges will select an alternate winner with the entry judged to be the next best entry to receive that prize.
27. The Promoter is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred.
28. Once the prizes have left the Promoter’s/supplier’s premises, the Promoter and its agencies and companies associated with the promotion will not be responsible for any delay in delivery, loss or damage to that prize. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. In the event for any reason a winner does not take the prize, when specified by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be supplied in lieu of the prize. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. Where a prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute the prize for a prize of equal or higher value and/or specifications, as determined by the Promoter.

Where the operation of this promotion results in, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, entrants agree to follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.

By participating in this promotion the entrant consents to the use of his or her PI as described. 29. Where the operation of this promotion results in, for GST purposes, supplies being made for
non-monetary consideration, entrants agree to follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated
view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal
GST inclusive market values.
30. The Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability, for any
personal injury or death; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether
direct, indirect, special or consequential, which is suffered or sustained (whether or not
arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with the promotion or accepting or using
any prize, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical
difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any
theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or correspondence that
is late, lost, altered, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, corrupted, damaged or
misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond
the reasonable control of the Promoter; (including but not limited to entrant error or

31. The Promoter is collecting each entrant’s personal information (PI) on the entry form for the
purposes of the Promoter and its agencies conducting this promotion, including, but not
limited to, judging winners and providing the prizes. The PI of entrants may be provided to
third parties assisting in the conduct of the promotion. If the PI requested is not provided,
the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By participating in this promotion the
entrant consents to the use of his or her PI as described. If an entrant wishes to access,
update or correct any PI, the entrant should direct these requests to the Privacy Officer of

telephone Number: (02) 9794 9600. If the entrant has marked the “opt-in” box on the entry
page, the entrant consents to the storage of their PI on the Promoter’s database and the
Promoter may use this information for future promotional and marketing purposes
regarding the Promoter’s products and services including contacting the entrant via any
medium, including but not limited to mail, telephone and commercial electronic messages.
