Terms & Conditions of Entry
1. Information on how to enter the Promotion and a description of the prizes that may be won in the Promotion form part of these Terms & Conditions of Entry. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions of Entry. Entries not complying with these Terms & Conditions of Entry are ineligible and the Promoter reserves its absolute right to disqualify any Entrant from the Promotion if any entries do not comply with these Terms & Conditions of Entry.
2. Entry is open to all residents of Australia, who are 18 years of age or over. However, employees and their immediate families of BWS, Woolworths Liquor and Salmat Digital Pty Limited and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.

3. Definitions within this Promotion:
Participating Store means a Beer Wine Spirits - BWS store or Woolworths Liquor store, located within Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, the Australian Capital Territory, Victoria or New South Wales.

Promotion means the Woolworths Limited – BWS and Woolworths Liquor “Kiss Beer Competition” governed by these Terms & Conditions of Entry.
Promotional Period means 08:00am 16/01/2013 AEDST to 20:00 12/02/2013 AEDST
Entry Form means the online entry form located at
www.bws.com.auEligible Purchase means a purchasing a participating product as outlined in these Terms and Conditions of entry.

4. Entries for the prize draw close on Tuesday 12/02/2013 during the Promotional Period, at 20:00 (8pm) AEDST.
5. To enter the Promotion, the entrant must meet the entry requirements as specified in clause 2 of these Terms and Conditions of entry and must; i) purchase any Participating Product (“Eligible Purchase”) at a Participating Store during the Promotional Period AND ii) go online to
www.bws.com.au and follow the prompts to complete the online entry form to enter the draw OR iii) SMS your full name, receipt number, state and postcode to 19992946 to enter the draw. SMS costs are $0.55c inc gst per SMS entry. Salmat Digital Pty Ltd. For SMS help call 1300 131 276.
The SMS entry mechanic is only open to consumers with a SMS compatible mobile phone connected to a service provider which permits text messaging to the promotional SMS number. It is recommended that entrants check with their individual service provider in this regard.
6. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity (including phone bill or store receipt for purchase requirement) in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. Entrants need to retain a copy of their proof of purchase (receipt)
7. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries including SMS messages not received by the Promoter or delays in the delivery of the SMS message due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason. SMS entries via the internet or computer generation and not attributable to a valid mobile phone account is invalid and will not be accepted.
8. Prize winner will be determined by an automated random draw of all valid entries. Prize draw will take place at 12 noon AEDST on Monday 18/02/2013. The prize draw will take place at Salmat Digital Pty Ltd, Level 2, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060.
9. The first (1) valid entry randomly drawn will be the winner. The prize winner will be notified by phone within 2 days of the draw and in writing within 7 days of the draw and their details will be published in The Australian on 20/02/2013. If a winning entry is invalid, that entry will be discarded and the prize will be awarded by randomly drawing another entry in accordance with these Terms & Conditions of Entry.
10 . The prize must be claimed by 26/02/2013 at 11:59 (AEDST) and if the prize remains unallocated or unclaimed, a further draw will be conducted on 27/02/2013 at the same time and place as the original draw (subject to any directions given under all State Regulations). In the event of a re-drawn winner, the winner will be notified by phone within 2 days of the draw and in writing within 7 days of the draw and their details will be published in the Public Notices section of The Australian on 01/03/2013.
11. The prize winner will win The Ultimate Kiss Experience. The prize is valued at up to a maximum of $12500. Prize value as stated is correct as at 06/12/2012. Prize package comprises of; Return economy flights to Melbourne from any capital city airport in Australia for 5 adults, transfers for 5 adults and 1 nights’ accommodation for 5 adults valued at up to $1000 per person. Total value at up to $5000. Tickets & backstage passes to the Kiss show in Melbourne on 5th March 2013, valued at $1500 per person. Total value $7500.
The departure and return date must fall between the following dates 5th – 6th March 2013.
a) Winners and their companions are solely responsible for any travel insurance; medical and/or any other similar insurance cover required either for the trip or for personal injury associated with participation in activities, spending money and expenses not listed in these Terms and Conditions of entry. Winners may extend their stay at their own expense. The Promoter is not responsible for cancellation, delays or changes to flights or any part of the prize or for the inability of a prize winner to take up any part of the prize due to problems with flights, travel or other factor outside the Promoter’s control.
b) The winner/s (and their companion/s) is/are responsible for all other expenses including spending money, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, taxes (excluding departure and any other flight associated taxes included within the prize), energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, passports, visas, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
c) The winner/s and travelling companions must travel at the same time, must depart from the same capital city and are responsible for transport from their residence to their nearest capital city for flight departure.
d) Air tickets are available on the regular scheduled services of each airline and are subject to seasonal embargos. Flight itinerary may have to be adjusted depending on the airlines departure city and their current flight schedule. Frequent Flyer points are not available from any airline.
e) A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the winner at check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges. Once accommodation vouchers are issued they are non-changeable.
f) It is the traveller’s personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including but not limited to valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the traveller/s.
g) Woolworths Limited and Salmat Digital Pty Limited make no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various sources, including government, local consular offices and the web site of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
10. Travel must be taken between 5th – 6th March 2013 at the time specified by the Promoter. If a winner and travelling companions are, for whatever reason, unable to travel on a nominated date, or do not take an element of the prize within the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner. The prize is not transferable and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize or element thereof.
12. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from winning of the prize. Independent financial advice should be sought.
13. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify all entries from any Entrant who is in breach of the Terms & Conditions of Entry or who manipulates, seeks to manipulate or benefits from manipulating, the entry process or the Promotion.
14. The Promoter and its agencies and companies associated with this Promotion will not be liable for any loss (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), damage or personal injury which is suffered or sustained (including without limitation to that caused by any person's negligence) relating to the Promotion or the awarding or taking of the prizes except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case liability is limited to the minimum amount allowable by law).
15. The Promoter may use any personal information that an Entrant has provided to it as part of Entry for the purpose of running the Promotion, and also in advertisements, publications, media statements and other promotional material associated with the Promotion. For purposes of public statements and advertisements the Promoter will only publish the winner’s surname, initial and Participating Store location. The Promoter may disclose the information for those purposes to its related bodies corporate and contractors. Unless the Cardholder has opted-out of communication within their Registration, the Promoter may use personal information a Cardholder has provided to send the Cardholder information about Woolworths' products and services (including via electronic means), and may disclose the information to its related bodies corporate, agencies and contractors (including call centers, advertising agencies and direct mail houses) the Promoter engages for that purpose. The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act (Cth) 1988. A copy of the Promoter's privacy policy can be viewed at the Website. 17. In the event there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
