Terms & Conditions
1. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Entry is open to Australian residents over the age of 18 only who must be available to travel as per the dates in Condition 14. Directors, management, employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, Qantas and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter (“Eligible Entrant”).
3. The promotion commences at 10.00am (AEDT) on 30 January 2013 and closes at 10.00am (AEDT) on 13 March 2013 (“Promotional Period”).
4. To enter the promotion, eligible entrants must, within the Promotional Period, complete an entry form online at
www.adinahotels.com.au.
An Eligible Entrant may enter the competition by submitting their details via the competition entry form. Entry is dependent on the customer subscribing to the Adina Apartment Hotels email newsletters and Toga Hotels Hot Deals email newsletters.
One entry per Eligible Entrant will be allowed in this promotion. An Eligible Entrant will receive an additional ten entries in the draw to win if they contact Toga Hotels through the link provided on the Entry Confirmation page / email and write a blog article about the competition using keywords and links as specified by Toga Hotels.
An Eligible Entrant will also receive one entry in the draw per friend that enters the competition. If the Eligible Entrant shares the competition link on Facebook or Twitter after competition submission, or from clicking through the original email to the landing page, or sharing their email, their email address will be captured when their friend signs up.
5. There will be one draw and 11 prizes.
(a) The first eligible entry drawn will win the Major Prize, which includes:
Qantas return economy airfares (for 2 people) from Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney, to Frankfurt, Germany on a Qantas marketed flight (includes flight associated taxes). Note: for travel after 15 April 2013, some flights may be operated by Emirates (subject to Government and regulatory approval).
3 nights accommodation at an Adina Apartment Hotel in Frankfurt, Germany in a one bedroom apartment.
4 nights accommodation at an Adina Apartment Hotel in Berlin, Germany in a one bedroom apartment.
Connecting flights (for 2 people) between Frankfurt & Berlin (includes flight associated taxes). Airline is of the Promoter’s choice.
The total maximum value of the Major Prize is $6,625
(b) The next 10 eligible entries will each win a Runner Up Prize, which is 2 consecutive night’s accommodation at a Toga Hotel, across Australia or New Zealand (of the winner’s choice). This prize is valid 6 months from the date of issue. Each prize is valued up to a maximum of $750.
The total maximum value of the Runner Up prizes is $7,500.
The total maximum prize pool value is $14,125.
6. The draw will take place at 11.00am (AEDT) on 15 March 2013 at 15 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay NSW 2089. The winners will be notified in writing within 2 business days of the draw, and announced in The Australian newspaper on 22 March 2013. The Major Winner will also be notified by phone.
7. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. Each prize is not transferable to another person (unless agreed to by the Promoter) or exchangeable for other goods and services and cannot be redeemed for cash. Any element of a prize that is unused will be forfeited.
9. In the event that any component of a Prize is unavailable for any reason, subject to State legislation, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute that Prize component with another prize or component of equal value and the Prize Winner will be notified accordingly.
10. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize values. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
11. Entrants acknowledge that all content posted on Facebook must be in accordance with Facebook terms (
http://www.facebook.com/terms.php). Entry and continued participation in the promotion is dependent on entrants following and acting in accordance with the Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, which can be viewed at

Entrants understand that they are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. The information an entrant provides will only be used for the purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions. 12. Entrants acknowledge that all content published on Twitter must be in accordance with Twitter Rules (

13. The prize winners (and their travelling companions) are responsible for all other expenses including spending money, meals, drinks, airfares & transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), energy surcharges, hotel car parking, other hotel incidentals, visas, ground transportation, taxes not included in the price of the ticket, travel, gratuities, service charges, passports, visas, travel insurance (unless specified), pre and post accommodation, optional activities or excursions, merchandise or any other costs of a related, ancillary or incidental nature and all other ancillary costs. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other travel and prize related expenses become the responsibility of the winners. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the prize winners at check-in to the hotels for all incidental charges.
14. Prize travel is subject to availability at the time of booking. The Major Prize winner must claim their prize by 9.00am (AEDT) on 26/04/2013, with travel commenced by 31/07/2013 and completed by 26/10/2013. Travel is not permitted between 27/03/2013 and 13/04/2013, and 15/06/2013 and 13/07/2013. Prize redemption and travel for the runner up prizes must be taken between 01/04/2013 and 01/10/2013. The winner of the Major Prize must book their travel by 31/05/13.
15. The winner and their companion must travel together on prize flights and will not accrue Qantas Frequent Flyer points on the prize travel. An upgrade cannot be purchased on airfares with cash or Qantas Frequent Flyer points.
16. The Promoter reserves the right to require winners to provide proof of identity and/or proof of age. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
17. All flights which form part of the prize are ineligible for earning frequent flyer points/miles of any airline loyalty program membership held by the Major Prize winner or their travelling companion.
18. All elements of the prize must be taken together.
19. Travel arrangements to and from the Major Prize winner’s nearest Australian capital city airport do not form part of the prize and is the responsibility of the prize winner and their companion. Any alterations to flights that have been confirmed by the prize winner and/or accommodation details will be at the expense of the prize winner and their companion. Airport taxes and government levies must be paid by the winner at the time of booking if applicable. Itinerary to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. In the event that flights are not available, the Promoter reserves the right, where practical, to offer alternative travel arrangements.
20. Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the prize winner and their companion. Prize travel is subject to Qantas’ General Conditions of Carriage, available at qantas.com.
21. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies make no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various sources, including government, local consular offices and the website of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The Major Prize winner and their travelling companion must possess a valid Australian passport with a minimum of (6) six months validity from the date of scheduled return to Australia. It is the responsibility of the winner and their companion to ensure that they have full and correct documentation for travel. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be held responsible for any loss or delay that may occur as a result of any passport or visa not being produced for travel.
22. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw in the event of an entrant being unable to satisfy these terms & conditions or forfeiting or not claiming a prize. For any prize that remains unclaimed or forfeited through ineligibility or otherwise, the Promoter will conduct a further draw at the 10.00am (AEDT) at the same place as the original draw on 26 April 2013, subject to any directions given under State authorities. Any winners will be notified in writing within 2 business days of the draw and their name will be announced in The Australian newspaper on 3 May 2013. The winner of the Unclaimed Prize Draw must book their travel by 31/05/13.
23. Entry details will be used for the purposes of this promotion and may be used for further marketing activities. The winners agree to the use of their name, image and photograph/s for publicity and promotional purposes, without compensation, and agrees that the Promoter will own copyright in any such images and photograph/s and in all material incorporating the photograph/s.
24. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or a consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
25. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever resulting from incorrect details lodged by entrants.
26. The Promoter reserves the right to vary the rules of any promotion or any prizes offered or cancel any promotion if it is no longer able to run the competition due to reasons beyond its control, subject to State legislation. The Promoter will not be liable for any losses to any party arising from any variation or cancellation.
27. Entrants’ personal information provided to Qantas in connection with this promotion will be handled in accordance with Qantas’ Privacy Statement, available at Qantas.com/privacy.
