PARTICIPATION
1. This competition ("Competition") is conducted by InsureMyRide Pty Limited ABN 75 121 676 293 ("Promoter"), c/o Suncorp Group, Level 11, 447 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC, 3000.
2. Entry to the Competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. All entry instructions and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these Terms and Conditions of the Competition.
3. The Competition is only open to individuals who: (i) are residents of
Australia aged 18 years or older as at time of entry; and (ii) are not employees (or an Immediate Family Member of an employee) of the Promoter or any of its related entities or any of their agencies associated with the Competition. An Immediate Family Member means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto, ex-de-facto, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin. A person who meets the entry criteria described in this clause is known as an Eligible Entrant.
4. Competition entry commences at 11:00am on 13 February 2013 and
closes at 5:00pm on 28 March 2013 ("Entry Period"). All times referred to in these Terms and Conditions are Australian Eastern Daylight Saving time.
5. All dollar amounts stated in these conditions are stated in Australian dollars.
ENTRY
6. To enter the Competition, an Eligible Entrant must, during the Entry Period:
Use a compatible browser to log onto their Facebook account and visit
www.facebook.com/insuremyride (“Facebook Page”) and “Like” the Facebook Page (if they do not already “Like” the page). Then click on the Competition tab (“Competition Tab”) on the Facebook Page and fully complete the entry form including first name, last name, email address, phone number, helmet size, helmet colour preference, their most creative response to the question ‘What was your most memorable riding experience?’, and tick the box agreeing to the Competition’s Terms and Conditions as well as to receive marketing communications from the Promoter. To be a valid entry, the Eligible Entrant must, during the Entry Period, provide all the details required by the Promoter. An Eligible Entrant can only enter once via this method and there is no facility for the Promoter to withdraw or amend their single entry.
7. All Eligible Entrants must ensure that the Promoter receives their entries during the Entry Period. Entries will be deemed accepted at the time that the Promoter is satisfied that the relevant requirements under condition 6 have been met and not at the time of submission by the Eligible Entrant. The Promoter takes no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, illegible or misdirected entries or delays or failures in any telecommunications service or equipment.
8. The Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, declare any or all entries made by an Eligible Entrant invalid if the Eligible Entrant tampers with the entry process, benefits from such tampering or submits an entry that is illegible, incomplete or not in accordance with these conditions.
INTERNET ENTRIES
9. Eligible Entrants must submit their internet entries manually. The Promoter may reject internet entries if it reasonably forms the opinion that they have been entered using automated entry means or by use of a competition entry service.
10. Cost of entry via the internet is free, but internet connection and usage rates may apply. Eligible Entrants should obtain details of such costs from their service providers.
PRIZES AND WINNERS
11. The Competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in the selection of the winners.
12. Judging will be conducted by a panel of the Promoter’s judges and will take place at the Promoter’s office at Level 11, 447 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC, 3000 on 3 April 2013 at 11:00am. Entries will be judged by the Promoter based on creativity and literary merit (“Criteria”). The Promoter’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The best five (5) entries judged against the Criteria (“Prize Winners”) will each win a Reevu motorcycle helmet, valued at up to $599 each (“Prize”).PROVISIONS APPLICABLE TO THE PRIZE GENERALLY
14. The Prizes are valued at up to $2,995 including GST in total. The Prizes are valued as at 30 January 2013. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variations in an individual Prize’s value.
15. If the Prize (or part of the Prize) is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, substitute an alternative of no lesser retail value and/or specification, or equivalent cash value. The Promoter accepts no other liability or responsibility for any loss incurred by the Prize winner or any other party if the Prize (or part of the Prize) is unavailable for any reason.
16. Other than as stated in condition 15, the Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable, and non-redeemable for cash.
17. The Prize Winner accepts the Prize at his or her own risk. The Promoter, its associated entities and agencies and their personnel shall not be liable for any death, injury, loss or damage (including any claim, costs or expenses) whatsoever that is suffered by any Eligible Entrant, Prize Winner or assignee of the Prize (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking and/or using any Prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any entries that are not received or are otherwise interfered with due to problems with the internet or telecommunications services. No responsibility will be taken by the Promoter for any incomplete, late, lost or misdirected entries.
INNERS OF THE PRIZES
18. The Prize winners will be notified by a phone call and a written message that will be sent to the e-mail address provided by them in their entry.
19. The Prize notification will state that the Prize Winner has won the Prize and will include instructions as to how the Prize Winner is to claim the Prize and establish their entitlement to it.
GENERAL
20. If for any reason the conduct or operation of the Competition is interfered with or disrupted in any way (including by vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, computer bugs or viruses, tampering or technical failures), the Promoter reserves the right to provide an alternate prize in accordance with condition 15 to the same value as the original prize or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend or recommence the Competition.
21. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for: (i) any error, omission, interruption, or delay in the operation or transmission of any communication sent to (or by) the Promoter or any Eligible Entrant whether caused by problems with communication networks or lines, computer systems, software or internet service providers, congestion on any carrier network or otherwise, (ii) any theft, destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of such communications; (iii) any problem with, or technical malfunction of, any computer system or other equipment used for the conduct of the Competition; (iv) any incorrect or incomplete information which may be communicated in the course of the administering this Competition (whether as a result of one of the foregoing causes or otherwise); (v) any delay in delivery, or failure of safe delivery of the Prize.
22. All of the Promoter's decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
PRIVACY AND MARKETING CONSENT AND DISCLOSURE
23. Privacy Statement. Each Eligible Entrant agrees that they must provide and maintain their consent to receive marketing communications from the Promoter from their time of entry to midnight on 3 April 2013. This is required to ensure that Competition entries are properly recorded, processed and the Prize Winners can be drawn. By entering this Competition, the Eligible Entrant understands and agrees that the Promoter collects their personal information in order to conduct the Competition as well as obtain information about the Eligible Entrant’s potential insurance needs. The Eligible Entrant also understands and agrees that the primary purpose of collecting information about the Eligible Entrant is to enable the Promoter to contact the Eligible Entrant at a later date (by any permitted means including telephone, email, mail or SMS) to market their respective products and services. If the information requested is not provided the entrant will not be eligible to participate in the Competition. By entering this Competition, the entrant understands and agrees that the Promoter may disclose the information provided by them to any state or territory gaming regulator (if necessary), as well as use their information for further promotional, marketing and publicity purposes. Subject to the required marketing communications consent during the Entry Period, an Eligible Entrant’s personal information is otherwise collected, used and disclosed in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, which are available at
www.insuremyride.com.au. If the Eligible Entrant would like to access or correct the personal information that the Promoter holds about them, or if the Eligible Entrant wishes to opt out of receiving the marketing communications referred to in these Terms and Conditions after 3 April 2013, the Eligible Entrant should inform the Promoter by sending an email to
info@insuremyride.com.au24. The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. The information an Eligible Entrant provides will only be used for the purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions. Any questions, comments or complaints about this promotion must be directed to the Promoter and not to Facebook. Facebook will not be liable for any loss or damage or personal injury which is suffered or sustained by an Entrant, as a result of participating in the promotion (including taking/use of a Prize) except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter reserves the right to modify the Terms and Conditions in order to comply with changes to the Facebook Pages Terms.
