Contesting will occur between 6.00am and 9.00am from Monday 11 March 2013 until Friday 29 March 2013 at exact times specified by the Promoter (“Promotional Period”).
An individual day during the Promotional Period is known as a “Contesting Day”.
The Promoter reserves the right to amend the Contesting Period at its absolute discretion.
Entry is available to permanent residents of: - Queensland
Entrants must be aged 18 years and over.
A person is ineligible to participate in the Competition and redeem any prizes if they have won a prize valued at $5,000 or more in any competition run by the Promoter (six) 6 months prior to their Entry in this Competition.
The Promoter will determine at its absolute discretion the opening and closing times for the receipt of calls on each Contesting Day. At the beginning of each Contesting Segment, the Promoter will let listeners know when to call 13 10 60 for their chance to take part in the Promotion. A random caller will be selected to play (“Contestant”).
The Contestant will have a maximum of 60 (sixty) seconds in which to answer as many questions (“Questions”) as they can, up to a maximum of ten (10) Questions (“Contesting Segment”).
The 60 (sixty) seconds are measured by the Promoter, with a buzzer indicating its conclusion. Once the buzzer sounds, the Contesting Segment is over and no more answers will be accepted – all responses must be completed before the buzzer. The Contestant can pass on a Question at any time and come back to it after the tenth Question has been asked, if there is time remaining.
The Promoter will accept only the Contestant’s first answer to each Question a Contestant will not have the opportunity to revise their answer.
Should the Contestant answer all ten (10) questions correctly (as determined by the Promoter), that Contestant will win $10,000 (“Major Prize” as outlined in Item 11: Prize Details). If the contestant does not get all ten (10) questions correct they will not be rewarded a prize.
Should a Contestant answer a Question/s incorrectly, they will still be able to proceed to subsequent Question/s, but they will no longer be eligible to win a Major Prize.
There will be a maximum of one (1) Major Prize available throughout the Promotional Period. If the Major Prize is awarded before the conclusion of the Contesting Period, the Promoter reserves the right to close the Promotional Period early.
Any one (1) individual is able to take part in the Promotional Period a maximum of one (1) time throughout the Promotional Period.
The Promoter reserves the right to run theme days at the discretion of the Promoter, where twists including, but not limited to the following, may be implemented:

At the Promoter’s discretion, on nominated Contesting Days, the Promoter may allow more than one (1) Contestant to play, up to a maximum of ten (10) Contestants on any one (1) Contesting Day (“Additional Contestants”).
The Promoter may, at their discretion, broadcast clues regarding the times of the contest (“Clues”) on various Contesting Days, either online (via the Website and/or the B105 Facebook page and/or Labby, Stav & Abby Facebook page) or on-air.
The Promoter’s decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The prize will be awarded in accordance with Item 8: Method Of Entry.
All decisions are at the discretion of the Promoter and no correspondence will be entered into in this regard.

Any one (1) individual can only participate in Labby, Stav & Abby’s $10,000 Pop Quiz as a Contestant one (1) time each for the entire year of 2013.
If the Promoter becomes aware that the same person (Entry) has been selected as a Contestant more than once, that person will be disqualified from their second (and subsequent) Contesting Segment, and the Promoter will allow another name to be selected in their place, at their discretion, or drop the Contesting Segment entirely
A contestant can only play on air once during the Contesting Period. If a contestant is found to have played twice or more, only the first prize will be awarded.
The Promoter reserves the right to provide hints and clues during the competition. Hints and clues will be given at the Promoters discretion
Winners are hereby notified that direct EFT payment can take up (thirty) 30 working days to be processed.
The Promoter may give away clues and hints at its own discretion entirely.
The Promoter reserves the right to solicit for entrants on Facebook and invite them to enter in accordance to Item 8.
