1.This competition is a promotion run by The Road Ahead Publishing Co Pty Ltd ABN 72 009 716 465 (“Promoter”).
2.Entries and information on prizes and how to enter form part of these terms and conditions (“Terms”). Entries not completed in accordance with these Terms are ineligible. Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
3.The competition is open to residents of Queensland over the age of 18 years of age only, who are current RACQ members when the competition is drawn.
4.This competition will involve one round in which entrants are eliminated.
5.Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and related entities of the Promoter are ineligible to enter.
6.The competition commences at 8.30am on Thursday, April 4, 2013 and closes at 5pm on Friday, May 31, 2013. For the first stage elimination round of the draw, 18 entries will be selected and divided proportionately between the methods of entry.
7.The first elimination round of the competition will be drawn at 10am on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at RACQ The Road Ahead, 300 St Paul’s Terrace, FORTITUDE VALLEY and Oxygen 8 Communications, Suite 156, Life Style Working, 117 Old Pittwater Road, Brookvale, NSW 2100. The final draw of the competition will be drawn at RACQ The Road Ahead, 300 St Paul’s Terrace, FORTITUDE VALLEY on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 3pm.
8.There will be five (5) prize winners in this competition that will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9.Entrants may enter the competition as many times as they like, however, only one prize will be awarded to the prize winner regardless of the number of times their entries are drawn.
10.Entry is by: writing your name, address and RACQ membership number on the back of an envelope and posting it to the Monsters University Competition, PO Box 843, Spring Hill, Qld, 4004; or by SMSing the code word MONSTER along with your name, RACQ membership number to 1999 RACQ (1999 7227), SMS entries charged at $0.55 incl. GST; or by filling in the entry form at roadahead.com.au/win/monsters.
11.Each prize winner will receive a Monsters University prize pack containing a limited edition Monsters University jacket and a family pass (admit 4; 2 adults, 2 children) to see the film Monsters University in Disney Digital 3D™, each valued at $202. The total prize value is $1010. The family pass prizes will be valid for use for the duration of the movie season for Monsters University at participating cinemas throughout Australia.

The family pass prizes will be valid for the entire theatrical season. ‘No free ticket’ restrictions do not apply. The winners are required to present their family pass at the cinema box office. A $1 refundable cost for a pair of re-usable 3D glasses purchase will be required at most cinemas. A $5 refundable deposit may be required at some cinemas for the 3D glasses. It is the responsibility of the winners to confirm the requirements of the participating cinema in relation to the refundable deposit prior to attending their chosen movie session for Monsters University.
The family pass prizes cannot be used at the following sessions: Not valid for Gold Class; Special Event sessions or Vmax at Village Cinemas. Not valid for Gold Class and Vmax at Event Cinemas. Not valid for Gold Class and Vmax at Greater Union and Birch Carroll & Coyle. Not valid for La Premiere, Directors Suite, thehalfpipe, Xtremescreen or IMAX at Hoyts Cinemas. Not valid at Reading Gold Lounge and Hayden Orpheum Cinemas. Not valid at Ace Gold Lounge Cinemas, Special Event sessions or 3D sessions at Ace Cinemas. Not valid public holidays, all day Tuesday, discount days or Saturday after 5pm. Not valid with any other offer.
13.The prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
14.The winners will be notified on the phone number, email or postal address they use to enter the competition. Competition results will also be published on
www.roadahead.com.au two weeks after the final draw. The prize will be posted or couriered to the winners as appropriate within two weeks of the competition being drawn to the addresses provided by the winner when they entered the competition.
15.If the competition winner is unable to be contacted within 10 days of the draw a redraw will occur. In the event that a redraw is required it will be held at 9am on June 17, 2013 at RACQ The Road Ahead, 300 St Paul’s Terrace, FORTITUDE VALLEY and the redraw winner will be notified by mail or by telephone using the mailing address or telephone number provided by them when they entered the competition.
16.All entries become the property of the Promoter. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
17.The information that entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the competition, and to periodically keep entrants informed about the goods and services provided by the Promoter, related entities and its service providers. By entering this competition entrants consent to the use of their contact details for the purposes described in this clause. The Promoter may use or disclose entrant’s personal information to related entities or other appropriate third parties in accordance with its privacy policy available on its Internet site at
www.racq.com.au/privacy.
18.If for any reason this competition is not capable of being conducted by the Promoter as intended, whether because of computer virus, mobile phone failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which in the Promoter’s opinion affects the administration of the competition, security, fairness or integrity, the Promoter may in its sole discretion, cancel, modify or suspend the competition, subject to the approval of the gaming authority in Queensland as may be required.
19.The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage or for any personal injury sustained as a result of taking the prize
or entering into this competition. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability or any goods or services offered as prizes. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, or the supply, of goods and services by any person to the prize winner and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the prize winner.
