Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
This competition is a game of chance.
Entry to this competition is open to all residents of Western Australia excluding employees of the Promoter, employees of Forrest Chase centre manager Jones Lang LaSalle, retailers and their staff at Forrest Chase and City Central and the immediate family of the preceding people (parent, sibling, spouse or grandparent).
The competition starts at 6am AWST Monday, 25 March 2013 and finishes at 9am on Friday, 31 May 2013
To enter, participants will need a smart phone or equivalent mobile device with QR code reader software and internet access. A participant must scan the QR code attached on the Forrest Chase branded tag entitled ‘Scan to Win’.
Winning participants will be directed to a winner’s web page, which will outline the prize details.
To redeem a prize the winner must present the winning QR code tag in person to:

Anything other than an original prize winning QR code tag will not be accepted as a prize-winner. No photocopies, scans, screen grabs or duplicates of the winning tag will be accepted.
Winning participants are eligible to win one prize only. Only one prize-winning tag per participant will be accepted.
Losing participants will be offered a second chance to win by signing up to the monthly Forrest Chase/City Central newsletter. A winner will be drawn randomly from the valid entries and will win a $200 gift card. Forrest Chase centre management will contact the winner during the week of 26th November and arrange for their prize to be collected.
To be deemed a valid entry, new subscribers must agree to the terms and conditions.
The total prize pool consists of fifty (50) prizes of $40 gift cards and eleven (11) prizes of $200 individual store gift cards. Total prize fund value is $4,200. Individual prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or other store card vouchers.
The prize must be collected within 30 days of the closing date for the promotion and a Forrest Chase representative reserves the right to accompany winners when redeeming the prizes.
The winner will be responsible for liaising with Forrest Chase Centre Management to arrange redemption of their prize.
No automated entries on the Site that are made using any script, macro, sweepstakes service, automated entry software, or facsimiles will be accepted.
Proof of identity may be required from the prize winner prior to claiming the prize. Forrest Chase Centre Management will determine what identification is suitable for verification. If for any reason the winner does not take a prize or an element of a prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited.
If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.
The Promoter reserves the right to refuse prize redemption to any entrant that does not comply with these terms and conditions.
Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, related holding companies, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry to the ‘second chance’ competition is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
An entrant may opt out of receiving information from Forrest Chase, by following unsubscribing instructions on any E-Marketing mail out.
If this competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition, as appropriate.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) if the first prize shopping event is cancelled/postponed for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (g) use of a prize.
Each entrant consents to the access and disclosure of the information in accordance with clauses 26 and 27.
All prizes are offered by the Promoter in good faith and are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash, unless otherwise specified.
In the case of a dispute or challenge, the decision of the marketing manager of the Promoter will be final. No correspondence will be entered into.
