Each weekday morning during the active contesting dates, a clue will be released with Laurel, Gary & Mark in the form of a new element of the mystery song. Please note due to the ANZAC public holiday on Wednesday 25 April, the competition will be contesting on this day.
Contesting will then take place once per hour between 10am and 5pm weekdays, with listeners solicited to be the 6th caller through to play. Players will then have the opportunity to identify the mystery song for the chance to win cash.
The player who correctly identifies the title and artist of the mystery song will win the cash jackpot.
Should the mystery song not be guessed after all the clues have been given, Laurel, Gary & Mark will play a reveal piece the following morning after 5.30am.
Once the mystery song is guessed, Laurel, Gary & Mark will launch a new song the following morning in Breakfast.
All winners who correctly identify the title and artist of the mystery song will win the cash jackpot.
The cash jackpot will begin at $800 for each new song, and will jackpot by $800 a day if the song is not correctly guessed.
Cash prizing will not fall below $800 or exceed $7,200 for each mystery song contest.
No limitation on entries – however once a listener has correctly guessed a mystery song and been awarded a cash prize, they are unable to enter the promotion again.
Entrants under the age of 18 must have permission from their parent/guardian to enter the promotion.
If the winner is under the age of 18, payment of the prize must be made out to the winner’s parent or legal guardian.
All guesses will be judged at the Promoter’s discretion. The judge’s decision is final.

Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
All prizing will be delivered by cheque to the cash jackpot amount. The cheque will be sent to the winner 4-6 weeks from winning the competition.
