ELIGIBILITY
1.1
The Contest
is organised by
Pan Pacific Marketing Services (PAN PACIFIC)
and is open to
all Eligible Participants defined below.
By submitting an entry to the Contest
(“
Submission
”), you have agreed or are deemed to have agreed to be bound by the
terms and conditions contained hereinafter (“
Terms and Conditions”)
.
1.2
An “Eligible Participant” means a
PARKROYA
L Hotels & Resorts Facebook fan of
at least
eighteen (18) year
s of age at the time of Submission, who subm
its an Entry (defined below)
during
the Qualifying Period
, save
for territories where
participation in such contests are
prohibited by applicable law or regulation. It also
excludes the following:
a.
Employees
of
PAN PACIFIC
and
PAN PACIFIC
subsidiaries and affiliates and their
immediate families;
b.
E
mployees
and their immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their
respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) or those living in the same
hous
ehold (whether or not related)
of
PAN PACIFIC
partners, distributors, retailers,
contractors and advertising and promotions agencies and persons involved in
organising, promoting and/or conducting the Contest; and
c.
any other persons that
PAN PACIFIC
may decide to exclude at its sole and absolute
discretion without notice and without furnishing any reason.
1.3
“
Entry
” or “
Entries
” means submitting an answer to the question of the month; together
with the joining of PARKROYAL Hotels &
Resorts’ Facebook Page at
https://www.facebook.com/PARKROYALHotelsandResortsas a fan.
The contest and its
terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the la
ws of
Singapore. By entry into the contest, participants agree to submit to the non
-
exclusive
jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts.
Each Entry must include the following details:
a.
Perso
nal information: Full name and official i
dentification
number
(e.g. Id
entity Card)
of
participant
.
b.
Contact
information: Email address and mobile number.
Each participant can only make one (1) submission.
PAN PACIFIC
shall have the right to
disqualify any participant from the contest who:
a.
Is found to have made inaccurate
submissions and/or give inaccurate or misleading
personal particulars;
b.
Is subsequently found to have made more than one (1) submission using a different
name, email address, contact details or any other methods to enter more than one
itinerary.
c.
Is found to
have tampered with the submission process or the operation of the contest;
d.
Is in breach of these Terms and Conditions;
e.
PAN PACIFIC
deems to be unfit for participation in the contest for whatever reasons
without notifying the participant

Fans are required to share their Top

based on the following criteria:
a. Creativity (50%)
Entr
ies are judged based on

use of language
. Points will be awarded for clear, concise
and imaginative write

ups.
b. Authenticity (50%)
Entries
are judged on how accurately it reflects
the destination’s culture and
heritage
.
Points
will be awarded for unique recommendations
in comparison to commonly mentioned ones.
2.3
All entries must be the author’s original work. Any entry found to be in breach of this would
result in immediate disqualification.

PRIZE
DETAILS
3.1
The
prizes in this Contest (“
Prizes
”) are
non
-
transferable and non
-
exchangeable and are
subject to the terms and conditions accompanying them (if any).
PAN PACIFIC
may at its
sole and absolute discretion withdraw and/or substitute any prize with any other item
of
similar value without notice and without furnishing any reason. The winner is solely
responsible for any and all expenses, costs, taxes and/or fees as well as all additional costs
that may be incurred in relation to acceptance and/or use of the Prizes.
3.2
Winners will be notified of the Prizes
and collection details
via phone or email
at the end of
the Contest Period
.
If a winner does not respond to the notification within five (5) business
days,
PAN PACIFIC
reserves the sole right to select another
winner, forfeit the prize and/or
donate the prize to charity.
3.3
PAN PACIFIC
makes no product representation or warranties, expressed or implied, and
disclai
ms any and all
liability as to the condition, quality, merchantability or fitness for use of
pri
zes, premiums, goods, products,
items
and/or
services pertaining
and/or provided to or
received by the participant pursuant to the promotion and/or in connection with the Contest.
3.4
The Prizes are as follows:
a.
Two night
stay at
a
P
ARKROYAL property of
the participants’
choice
.
b.
Complimentary breakfast for the duration of the stay
.
c.
Dates o
f stay at winners’ discretion but must be utilized before 31
st
December 2013.

d.
Travel expenses
and any other in hotel expenditure must
be borne by the individual
winners
.

.
PARTICIPATION
a.
Participants
agree to indemnify, release, discharge and hold harmless
PAN PACIFIC
or
any of their partners or representatives
for any claims, losses and damages suffered by
as a result of your participation in the
contest
.
This includes, without limitation,
personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights,
defamation, or invasion of privacy.
b.
PAN
PACIFIC
reserves the right at any time in their absolute disc
retion to cancel or
modify the
contest
or substitute, withdraw or cancel any prize without prior notice and
without having to disclose any reason therefore and without any payment or
compensation
whatsoever.
c.
PAN PACIFIC
is not responsible for lost or misdirected entries, caused by telephone
lines or systems or internet service providers, for entry responses received after the
deadline as a consequence of telephone or internet service
d.
PAN PACIFIC

eserves the right, in sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to
be tampering with the registration process or the operation of the contest or the website,
to be in violation of the Conditions of Access of the Website,

or to be acting in violation of any law or regulation

reserves the right to pursue legal action against any individual believed
to have undertaken fraudulent activities or other activities harmful to this
contest

Participants also agree that
PAN PACIFIC
are not responsible or liable for any injury or
damage to a participant or third party's computer relating to or resulting from this
contest

nd/or its prizes.
g.
PAN PACIFIC
is not liable for damage to a user's computer system in any way due to a
user's participation in the online
contest
or downloading of any information in
connection with the registration, including without limitation any server
failure; lost,
delayed or corrupted data or other malfunction.
h.
The decision of
PAN PACIFIC
shall be final, conclusive and binding on all participants
and
winners, and no correspondence will be entertained.

administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
