By entering the Daintree Eco Lodge & Spa Mothers Day Giveaway you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
1. PRIZES
1.1. There is one (1) prize package to be won. The prize pack includes:
• 3 nights’ accommodation for 2 in a Rainforest Spa Bayan with jacuzzi on your micro-screened balcony
• Full breakfast for 2 in Julaymba Restaurant each morning
• Muramaka (get-together) in our bar between 17:00 and 18:00 each evening offering 1 complimentary wine, beer or soft drink per person
• Our signature spa treatment the Walbul-Walbul for 1
• Rainforest guided walk for 2
TOTAL PRIZE VALUE: $2,133.00
1.2. The Prize is valid for 6 months from the day the competition is drawn & must be used within this time period.
2. HOW TO ENTER
2.1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2.2. The competition commences on Saturday, 27th April 15 at 00.01 (AEST) and concludes on Thursday, 9th of May at 09.00 (AEST) ("the Competition Period")
2.3. In order to enter the competition entrants must visit
www.cairns.com.au/competitions and enter their details.
2.4. Each entrant who has entered the competition over the Competition Period and registered all details in accordance with the competition will be entered into the prize draws. All draws will take place at The Cairns Post Pty Ltd, 22-24 Abbott Street, Cairns, Queensland, 4870.
2.5. At times a third party promotional partner will be involved in the promotion. As part of the Terms & Conditions of entry you agree to receive promotional emails from the competition’s third party.
2.6. The prize will be drawn on Friday, 10th of May by 10:00am. The winner name/s will be published online at
www.cairns.com.au/competitions.
2.7. The Promoter's decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
2.8. Entrants (including winners) in the competition may enter as many times as they like. On occasion entry will be limited to one entry per email address.
3. WHO CAN ENTER?
3.1. Entry is open all Australian residents and you must be able to show upon request proof of residency.
3.2. Employees and their immediate families of The Cairns Post Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and third party competition companies are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether by natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.
4. NO LIABILITY
4.1. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to State Legislation.
4.2. The Cairns Post Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
4.3. The Promoter does not exclude any rights and remedies in respect of goods or services under the Competition and Consumer Act or equivalent State or Territory legislation which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. However, the Promoter excludes all rights, remedies, conditions and warranties in respect of goods or services from your entry into this competition or your participation in or enjoyment of the prize whether based in statute, common law or otherwise, to the extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent possible the Promoter will have no liability in relation to the following:
4.3.1. the draw;
4.3.2. participation in or enjoyment of any prize;
4.3.3. as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
4.3.4. due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
4.3.5. arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines or mobile communications network related to or resulting from participation in this promotion;
4.3.6. due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control.
4.4. The Cairns Post Pty Ltd and its affiliates assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
4.5. If, for any reason, this competition is not capable of being conducted as planned, including, but not limited, due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to State Legislation.
