The MET brings you the Mixmash Records Australian Tour, Friday 31st May featuring Dutch electro house producer/DJ Oliver Twizt and rising star of the Australian scene and new Mixmash signing, Uberjak’d.
Founded in 2004, Mixmash Records started out as a label primarily focused on label head honcho Laidback Luke‘s own releases. Under Laidback Luke’s supervision and utilising his legendary production skills and drive, Mixmash’s international label profile gained its current AAA status and reputation. A vast array of both industry giants and talented uprisers havealready found their home at Mixmash Records. Such names, as Tiesto, A-trak, Steve Aoki, Steve Angello, Afrojack, Sidney Samson, Tocadisco, Avicii are all part of Mixmash’ impressive catalog.
Born in The Netherlands, Oliver Twizt has been scouring the local record shops ever since he can remember. Oliver’s first solo track featuring MC Roga ‘Do The Monkey’ entered the UK Buzz Charts at number four and got wide support by the likes of Roger Sanchez, Sander van Doorn, Carl Cox, Judge Jules and many more. Quite soon Oliver started taking over charts with tracks like ‘Underground’, ‘Finally’ (with Bart B More, #2 Beatport Chart), ‘Another Step’ and remixing Bart B More, Sander van Doorn, Erick E and many more.
Joining the Mixmash family is Adelaide native Uberjak’d. Voted #9 nationally in the inthemix top 50 DJ poll and #1 in SA, Uberjak’d recently mixed and toured the Ministry of Sound Clubbers Guide to 2013. With a reputation for partying and Dj-ing ALL night, Uberjak’d is the cause behind many a broken curfew, blistered heel and disco hangover. His superhero motto of delivering a good time to the world, and his fans, as well as his undying passion for music, make Uberjak’d one of the strongest young talents in the Australian dance community.
