Greta GarboRoyalAuto and ACMI Cinemas, Australian Centre for the Moving Image, is offering 100 double passes to a private screening of Queen Christina for RACV members on Friday, 10 May at 4pm. This lavish 1933 costume drama stars Greta Garbo as the 17th-century Swedish queen. Queen Christina of Sweden is a popular monarch who is loyal to her country. However, when she falls in love with a Spanish envoy, she must choose between the throne and the man she loves.
The movie screens as part of Gowns by Adrian: Dressing MGM's Leading Ladies, a film season showcasing the glamorous gowns worn by some of Hollywood's greatest stars.
