Enjoy local produce matched with Brown Brothers wines
Brown Brothers has been family owned and making wine for over 120 years at Milawa in Victoria's North East. Like so many wine families, there is a massive passion for wine, food and the deep-seated tradition of sharing of these with family and friends.
The restaurant at the Epicurean Centre, Patricia's Table, along with their flagship wines, is dedicated to their matriarch, Patricia Brown, for the love and commitment she gave to her family for more than 60 years. Her contribution has been fundamental in helping to make Brown Brothers the success it is today.
She also had a reputation as a great cook so Head Chef Douglas Elder and his team are determined to keep the standards high in her honour. Their menus change regularly to reflect the seasons and ensure the freshest produce is used, with the description heirloom being frequently applied. After all, we all know this produce has the best flavours!
With a garden out the back and local producers literally just down the road, you can expect to be savouring some wonderful tastes.
Douglas also loves creating new dishes to showcase each new release wine. This was at the fore recently with the annual Patricia lunch in celebration of her life and the launch of the 2008 Patricia Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2009 Patricia Chardonnay. He used one of Patricia's old cookbooks for inspiration, taking some of her old recipes and giving them a modern twist.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Prize is a three course lunch for two people, matched with Brown Brothers wines, at Patricia's Table in Milawa, North East Victoria (valued at $170 for two).
Prize is valid for six months (expires 30th December 2013) and is subject to availability when booking. Not redeemable for cash or wine and any additional wine or food at the winner's expense.
Prize is lunch only and does not include any other costs related to redeeming the prize, eg travel, accommodation etc.
The competition is open to all VisitVineyards.com subscribers and Members over the age of 18. Entries open 1st April 2013 and close midnight 2nd June 2013.
