methods during the Promotion Period (defined in 7 below):

period, log in to your account, confirm that your profile information is correct or update your
profile, as necessary, with the following mandatory information: First Name, Last Name, Date

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions of entry. By
entering this Promotion, each Entrant acknowledges that they have read and understood these
Terms and Conditions of entry. Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these
Terms and Conditions of entry.
2. The Promotion is only open to "Eligible Entrants". Subject to these Terms and Conditions, an
Eligible Entrant is a person who (a) is an Australian resident (b) is 15 years or older at the time of
entry; (c) has obtained permission to enter this Promotion from a parent/legal guardian if under
18 years of age at the time of entry; (d) has been invited by email from the Promoter to
participate in this Promotion; (e) submits their entry into this Promotion in accordance with these
Terms and Conditions; and (f) does not in any way tamper with the Promotion and/or the entry
process for the Promotion
3. Employees, management and directors of any of the Promoter, the Promoter's related companies
and agencies involved in this Promotion, and their immediate families, are not Eligible Entrants.
4. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and the details
provided by Entrants (including an Entrant’s identity, age, parental/legal guardian permission
(where applicable) and place of residence) and to disqualify any Entrant who submits an entry
that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process.
Identification suitable for verification is at the sole discretion of the Promoter. Failure by the
Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
5. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries, entries containing incorrect contact details and
entries containing material, which the Promoter considers inappropriate for any reason, will be
deemed invalid.
6. The Promoter’s decision on all aspects relating to this Promotion is final and no correspondence
will be entered into.7. The Promotion commences on 20/05/2013 at 9am and entries close on 20/06/2013 at 12am
(AEST) (“Promotion Period”).
8. The Promotion draw will take place at Citrus Internet Pty Ltd office premises (Level 8, 100 Albert
Road, South Melbourne, Victoria) on the 20/06/2013 at 1.00pm (AEST). The winners will be
notified by email (to the address stated in their submitted details unless the Entrant has notified
the Promoter in accordance with clause 25 and published online at the John Frieda website

9. The first (4) valid entries drawn will each win a John Frieda Hair Care Ultimate Style prize packs
valued at AU$168.00 (“Prize”). The Prize consists of 1 x John Frieda Sleek Finish Straightener
(RRP AU$89.99), 1 x John Frieda Vent rush (RRP AU$19,95), 1 x John Frieda Small Round Brush
(RRP AU$19,95) , 1 x John Frieda Frizz Ease 3-Day Straight Semi-Permanent Styling Spray (RRP
AU$16.99) & 1 x John Frieda Frizz Ease Smooth Start Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner (RRP
AU$16.99).
10. If the winner of a prize is under 18 years of age then the prize will be awarded to the winner’s
parent or guardian.
11. The winners will be determined by a random manual drawing procedure of the Entrants that have
confirmed, updated and/or correctly submitted their details through the entry process. The prizes
will be sent to the winners by mail to the address that the winner nominates when contacted by
the Promoter via email (as referred to in clause 9).
12. Once prizes have left the Promoter’s premises, the Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes
damaged, delayed or lost in transit.
13. Each prize, or any part of a prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as
cash, unless where otherwise specified. The prizes cannot be sold to any other person (including
via any online auction site). If a prize is unavailable for any reason the Promoter may substitute
for that prize another item of equal or higher value as determined by the Promoter, subject that
approval of the relevant gaming authorities, if required.
14. Subject to clause 15 if for any reason a winner does not take the prize or an element of the prize
by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will be
forfeited.
15. An unclaimed prize draw for any prize/s unclaimed will take place on 23/09/2013, at the same
time and place as the original prize draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority.
The winner/s of the re-drawn prize will be notified by email (to the address stated in their profile
details submitted unless the Entrant has notified the Promoter in accordance with clause 25 and
the name of the winner/s of the re-drawn prize on the John Frieda website competition page
www.johnfrieda.com.au/join-the-elite on 27/09/2013. The Promoter’s decision in relation to the
re-drawn prize/s is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
16. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably
anticipated (including without limitation infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering,
unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the
Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct
of this promotion), the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent
permitted by law (a) to disqualify any Entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a
regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
17. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the Entrant’s responsibility and is
dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any
other mechanical or electronic means that allows an Entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is
prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that Entrant invalid.
18. The Promoter is not responsible for any difficulties caused by technical errors or malfunctions of
any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer
equipment, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination of these that may occur in the course of the administration of this promotion. The
Promoter accepts no liability for any injury or damage to Entrants’ or any other person’s computer
related to or resulting from participation in, down-loading or transmitting any materials in this
promotion (except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law).
19. Neither the Promoter nor any of its employees, contractors and agents (nor employees of its
contractors and agents), accept any responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted,
delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence, whether due to
error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption,
communications failure or otherwise. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt
in the Promotion database.
20. All entries will be entered into a database and become the property of the Promoter. The
information entrants provide will be used by the Promoters for the purpose of conducting this
competition, conducting the John Frieda Hair Care Elite Club and otherwise in accordance with the
Promoters’ Privacy Policy available at
www.johnfrieda.com.au/join-the-elite. The Promoters may
disclose entrants’ personal information to their contractors and agents to assist in conducting this
competition or communicating with entrants. The Australian Promoter is bound by the National
Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988. The New Zealand Promoter is bound by the privacy
principles in the Privacy Act 1993. Entrants can request access to or correction of the personal
information the Promoters hold about them by contacting the relevant Promoter at the address
below. If Entrants do not provide the details requested, they may not participate in the
Promotion. Entrants' personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery
departments and winners' names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. A
request to access, update or correct any information held by the Promoter should be directed to

21. The winners accept the prizes at their own risk. Neither the Promoter, nor any of its employees,
contractors and agents (nor employees of its contractors and agents), nor companies providing
prizes for the Promotion, will be liable for any liability, loss, damage or expense (including, but not
limited to, direct, indirect or consequential loss or loss of profits), or death or personal injury,
suffered or incurred (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) arising out of, or in
connection with, this Promotion, the provision of the prizes, use or participation in the prizes or
promotion of this Promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which
case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
22. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize
winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
23. Each Entrant must comply with these Terms and Conditions of entry. Each Entrant indemnifies
and will keep indemnified the Promoter in relation to all loss and damage whatsoever which is
suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) by the Promoter as a direct or
indirect result of the Entrant acting inconsistently with or breaching any part of these Terms and
Conditions.
24. Should an Entrant’s contact details change during the Promotional Period, it is the Entrant’s
responsibility to notify the Promoter in writing.
25. Entrants are not required to be present at the draw.
