The salons that sold the winning SHIMMER.BUGs will receive an iPad.

25 words or less1. ELIGIBILITY.
To be eligible to win the prize you must have purchased a KEVIN.MURPHY SHIMMER.BUG from an authorized KEVIN.MURPHY stockist and be able to provide proof of the retail purchase of that KEVIN.MURPHY SHIMMER.BUG, excepting where the resident national, state or territory law of the entrant specifically allows that any resident person may enter. In these states or territories, entry is open to all resident individuals.
Only one entry is permitted per SHIMMER.BUG purchase, or where national, state or territory law specifically allows all resident individuals to enter, then one entry per individual will be permitted.
We do not accept any responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or submissions. All entries will become our property upon submission through our website and will be freely available for Kevin Murphy to publish/distribute in the upcoming K.NEWS, or in other mediums as determined by KEVIN.MURPHY.
If required, the winner must be able to provide KEVIN.MURPHY with the receipt of purchase and/or the ticket containing the code associated with the winning entry, excepting where entrants have entered based on the above national, state or territory law which permits any resident person to enter. In this latter case, entrants will still be liable to enter a Competition Code (provided on the entry page), and to produce satisfactory evidence of their residency of the relevant nation, state or territory (see 5. below).
The KEVIN.MURPHY SHIMMER.BUG competition is open to all, excluding any employees or contractors, or their families or partners, of KEVIN.MURPHY. These people are specifically excluded from being eligible. By entering the competition, each participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of KEVIN.MURPHY and/or the judges, which are final and binding in all respects.
2. DISCLAIMER.
KEVIN.MURPHY and any of their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, professional advisors, employees and agencies will not be responsible for:
a. any late, lost, misrouted, garbled or distorted or damaged transmissions or entries;
b. telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or other computer- or communications-related malfunctions or failures in connection with this Contest;
c. any Contest disruptions such as injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of KEVIN.MURPHY; or
d. any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Contest, for reasons beyond KEVIN.MURPHY’s control. This limitation may not be enforceable in all jurisdictions and therefore may not apply to all Eligible Participants.
3. COMPETITION PERIOD.
For North American residents
The contest starts on May 1, 2013 at 12:01 AM AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time) (the "Commencement Date"), and ends on July 15, 2013 at 11:59 PM PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) (the "Deadline") and the period between these dates will be known as the "Contest Period").
For European/Middle East & Australasian residents
The contest starts on June 1, 2013 at 12:01 AM AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time) (the "Commencement Date"), and ends on August 31, 2013 at 11:59 PM AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time) (the "Deadline") (and collectively, the "Contest Period").
4. HOW TO ENTER.
To enter, go to
www.kevinmurphy.com.au/shimmercomp and tell us in 25 words or less what your favorite KEVIN.MURPHY product is and why.
Users must provide upon request proof of retail purchase of the SHIMMER.BUG, excepting where the resident national, state or territory law of the entrant specifically allows that any resident person may enter. Entries are limited to one per person for each SHIMMER.BUG purchase, or one entry per individual where national, state or territory law specifically allows all resident individuals may enter.
All entrants must read and agree to the ‘Terms & Conditions’ as part of the competition entry process.
5. VOTING / SELECTION OF WINNER
Judges voting; The entries will be judged by Kevin Murphy, or his nominee, and winners will be selected.
Selection will be based on a combination of factors including, but not limited to, originality, creativity, appropriateness and style. There will be a total of 5 prizes distributed, with 2 prizes available for North American residents, 2 prizes available for European/Middle east residents, and 1 prize available for Australasian residents. All entrants will make available satisfactory evidence of their residency at the request of Kevin.Murphy.
6. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION.
Entry into the Competition requires you to enter your name, e-mail address, country of origin, Competition Code on the SHIMMER.BUG purchased (or obtained from the Competition web page where resident entrants enter under applicable national, state or territory laws as outlined above), and 25 words or less as to ‘What is your favorite KM product and why?’. By entering the Competition, you consent to KEVIN.MURPHY’s use of this information, as well as your name and biographical information in connection with the Competition as well as for advertising, marketing and publicity purposes in connection with the Competition, in any and all media now or hereinafter invented, throughout the world in perpetuity. You are informed that the personal data collected in connection with the Competition will be collected by the KEVIN.MURPHY’s servers and computer systems which are based in Australia, and such collection will therefore be subject to applicable Australian laws, including Australian privacy laws. You may also withdraw your personal data upon request, however you will be disqualified as an entrant in the Competition if you withdraw your personal data prior to the determination and fulfillment of the prizes.
7. CONDITIONS FOR PRIZE.
Prizes cannot be substituted, assigned or redeemed for cash, but KEVIN.MURPHY reserves the right to substitute any prize (or portion of a prize) with one of equal value should that prize (or portion) become unavailable for any reason. If any winner cannot or does not accept a prize as stated, that prize will be forfeited in its entirety and awarded to an alternate winner. All income and other taxes on prizes are solely the responsibility of the winners.
There will be 5 winners from the general public – those of whom have purchased a SHIMMER.BUG and completed the requirements for entry as listed above.
The salon(s) / stylist(s) who sells the SHIMMER.BUG to the winning entry(ies) will also receive a prize.

8. ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNER.
The names of the winners will be posted on the KEVIN.MURPHY blog (
www.lovekevinmurphy.com) on September 9, 2013 PDT (Pacific Daylight Time). The winners will also be notified by email before this date. Prize collection details will be disclosed within the letter to the winner.
9. COPYRIGHT.
The user warrants that any material supplied by them for this competition is free of any legal claim and indemnifies Kevin Murphy Group Pty Ltd and its subsidiaries against same. KEVIN.MURPHY may at its own discretion remove any material from the website or distribution at any time.
