Two Eden Mulholland/David Bridie Prize Packs

Feed the Beast is Eden Mulholland’s debut solo album, in part inspired by his compositions for theatre and dance, in part his overall genre defiance as a musician. The album traverses a complex musical landscape where you can expect the unexpected. One moment the journey is urgent and driving, the next it is coolly understated and sculpted, and throughout it is Eden’s signature fearless vocals that show the way.

Eden’s take on the pop music of the future comes complete with strange voices, ripped apart rhythms, momentary flashes from ethereal orchestras, and all with a complete disregard for genre boundaries. It may well be that Eden’s less conventional path in music – he formerly was a contemporary dancer – has helped shape his experimental approach to composition.

The album was recorded and mixed by Neil Baldock (Crowded House, Sarah Blasko) at Roundhead Studios.

Thanks to Eden’s PR folk, we have two copies of his new album, Feed the Beast, and two double passes to his show supporting David Bridie at The Street Theatre on Saturday June 22 to give away. If you’d like one of these prize packs, an album and a double pass both, email allan@bmamag.com and tell him which religiously/mythologically loaded place name you use for a kid’s name and why. (E.g. Eden; Hell; My Pants, etc.)
Email the editor with your name, phone number and address to see if you can pick up yourself a one of these.
Go for it, give it a tweet!
