Sunrise ‘Dreamworld Name the Tiger Cub’ Promotion Termsand Conditions
By entering Sunrise ‘Dreamworld Name the Tiger Promotion (“the Promotion”), you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2. WHOCANENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of Australia over the age of 18 years where the Channel Seven signal is received.
2.2 Employees and their immediate families of Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Ardent Leisure Limited and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The Competition commences on Thursday 20 June 2013 at 6.00am (AEST) and concludes on Wednesday 26 June 2013 at 11.00am (AEST) (“the Competition Period”).
3.2 In order to enter the Competition, viewers must watch Sunrise (“the Program”) on the Seven Network during the Competition Period where there will be a Competition segment aired during the Program (or any replacement program broadcast in the Sunrise timeslot).
3.3 To enter, viewers must log into the Sunrise website (
www.yahoo7.com.au/sunrise) between Thursday 20 June 2013 at 6.00am (AEST) and Wednesday 26 June at 11.00am (AEST). Viewers must answer the Competition question as disclosed within the program in 25 words or less, along with suggested tiger name, their full name, address (including postcode) and daytime telephone number (including STD area code).
3.4 The entry must be:
(a) the original independent creation of the entrant; and
(b) free from any claims, including copyright or trademark claims, by other parties.
3.5 Only one entry per person will be accepted from entrants online. No scripting is allowed for online entries (which will be deemed invalid).
3.6 The time of entry will in each case be the time the registration form is received by the Yahoo7 online database.
3.7 Entries remain the property of the Promoter and will not be returned to the entrant. Entrants agree to grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use their entries in all media worldwide and acknowledge that they will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4. PRIZES
4.1 There will be one (1) winner of the Competition. The prize winner will receive:
2 x return economy airfares from winner’s nearest capital city (only from Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane or Melbourne) to the Gold Coast – value $450
3 nights’ accommodation on the Gold Coast (min. 3 stars) – value $450

Total Combined Prize Value is: AU$999 (including GST). Prize value is correct as of 27 May 2013. The winner is not entitled to receive any money from any party if there is a difference between the maximum prize value and the actual prize value at the time of the draw.
4.2 Prize value is correct as at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate date on which the prize is taken.
4.3 The winner and their travelling companion are responsible for all other expenses including flights (if necessary), spending money, vaccinations, in-room charges, taxes, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, gratuities, services charges, items of a personal nature, passports, visas, and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is not included in the prize and will be the responsibility of the winner. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
4.4 The prize winner and their travelling companions must travel on the same flight as each other to their destination and must travel together.
4.5 Selection of airline, departure and arrival destination, flight times and accommodation venue is at Ardent Leisure Limited’s discretion upon time of booking.
4.6 The prize is subject to availability, cannot be taken during Australian school holidays or during Gold Coast Super GP Season (25 October – 27 October 2013), and is valid for a period of 3 months from the original draw date. Validity date of this prize cannot be extended.
4.7 Flight may only be taken from the winner’s nearest Australian major airport to the Gold Coast.
4.8 The prize winner will be required to provide a minimum of 3 weeks’ notice of intent to travel.
4.9 If the winner resides within a 3-hour drive or 240km from Dreamworld, airfares are not included in the prize.
4.10 Once booked, any changes made to the booking may incur a cancellation fee or amendment fee, at the cost of the winner. The winner of the prize (and their travel companions) will not accrue any frequent flyer points from taking the prize.
4.11 All components of the prize must be taken together. All additional costs incurred whereby the prize winner wishes to make variations to the travel are the winner’s responsibility and must be booked separately by the winner. All travel variations are subject to approval by Ardent Leisure Limited upon booking. Travel variations include, but are not limited to extension of travel duration, travellers outside of the age restriction and additional travellers.
4.12 The prize does not include travel insurance, passports, visas, meals, taxes not included in the price of the ticket, ground transportation or any other costs of a personal nature not stated. Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the prize-winner and their family.
4.13 Prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash. In the event a winner does not take the prize by the time stipulated, then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of prize. Prizes must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. Any unused portion of the prize is not-transferable, non-refundable and non-redeemable for other goods or services and cannot be taken as cash.
4.14 Any change in the value of the prize between publishing date and the date prize is claimed is not the responsibility of the promoter. This is the maximum retail value of the prize. Should the cost of travel be less than the costs incurred, the prize winner is not eligible to the difference.
4.21 In participating in the prizes, the winner agrees to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The winner grants the promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.22 The winner agrees that they will not and will ensure that their companions do not sell or otherwise make available their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.
4.23 If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize of equal value and/or specification.
4.24 The Winner should seek independent financial advice about any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings.

5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 The winner will be the entry judged by a panel of representatives appointed by the Promoter to be the most creative and/or original from the national pool received. All entries will be judged at the
office of the Ardent Leisure Limited on Wednesday 26 June at 4.00pm AEST. The competition is a game of skill.
5.2 The prize will be awarded to the entry judged the most creative and/or original.
5.3 Winner will be notified by telephone before 5.00pm on Friday 28 June 2013.
5.4 The judges’ decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.5 Incomprehensible and illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
5.6 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and prize supplier’s requirements.
5.7 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter or the Sponsor, as the case may be, in their absolute discretion.
5.8 In the event that the Promoter and the Sponsor receive two or more identical winning entries (ie. the exact tiger name and exact creative answer chosen by the Promoter and/or Sponsor), a random draw will be conducted to determine the winner on Monday 1 July 2013 at 8.30am AEST at MNet Mobile Pty Ltd, Level 1, 16 Anster Street, Adelaide SA 5000.
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel, modify or suspend the competition. If, due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter is unable to provide the stated prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award a substitute prize.
6.2 Neither Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Ardent Leisure Limited, nor the Sponsors and its franchisees and their associated agencies and companies will take any responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
6.3 Neither Seven Network (Operations) Limited and affiliates, Ardent Leisure Limited and their associated employees, agencies and companies associated with this promotion will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss or claim, damages, costs and expenses suffered, sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential) as a result of, or arising out of, or in any way connected with this promotion and/or its prizes that may occur:
a) during the judging;
b) during the drawn (if necessary);
c) whilst undertaking any travel won on or connected with their entry into the competition; or
d) in the participation in any prize;
e) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
f) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
g) in relation to failure of an entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion;
h) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any computer equipment, software, internet connection, any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer software related to or resulting from participation in this promotion
i) due to circumstances outside the promoter’s reasonable control.
6.4 The Promoter reserves the right to reasonably amend or vary these terms and conditions at its sole discretion, orally or in writing, for the purpose of Seven’s programming, scheduling or production requirements.
6.5 The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
6.5 Seven Network (Operations) Limited and the Sponsors assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
6.6 If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition

7.3 Seven Network Limited (ABN 65 052 845 262) and its related entities (“Seven”), is collecting the entrant's personal information for the purpose of conducting and promoting this competition (including but not limited to determining and notifying winner). The entrant’s personal information may be disclosed to the Ardent Leisure Limited for this purpose.
