Keeping the family entertained these school holidays is simple thanks to the great range of 3D films on offer on the world’s largest cinema screen, IMAX Darling Harbour, including MAN OF STEEL 3D, PACIFIC RIM 3D and a fantastic range of 3D documentaries.
 

Making a welcome return to the big screen is Superman in the release of MAN OF STEEL 3D. Produced by Christopher Nolan, the film stars Henry Cavill in the role of Superman/Clark Kent and tells the story of a young journalist who after being transported to Earth in infancy from the dying planet of Krypton, finds himself in the position to save humankind after Earth is attacked.

 
Directed by Guillermo del Toro (PAN’S LABYRINTH), the sci-fi action

film PACIFIC RIM 3D sees an alien attack threaten the Earth’s existence. When legions of monstrous creatures start rising from the sea, a war begins that sees two unlikely heroes stand together as mankind's last hope against the mounting apocalypse.
 
A huge line-up of 3D documentaries will also be on offer at IMAX Darling Harbour including the heart-warming story about the bond between human and animals, BORN TO BE WILD 3D; the scientific adventure story about the remarkable Monarch butterfly migration, FLIGHT OF THE BUTTERFLIES 3D; and the film that immerses viewers beneath the sea, THE LAST REEF 3D.

Tell us in 25 words or less, why watch a 3D movie at IMAX Darling Harbour will be a great school holiday event?

1. Eligibility: all entrants must:-

a. be registered subscribing members of OurKidz e-newsletters;

b. be residents of Australia; and

c. have completed the Competition Entry Form, including answering the given question of each competition in accordance with its instructions.

 

Any OurKidz employees, associates and their family members are ineligible in entering into OurKidz competitions.

 

2. The Promoter of the competitions is OurKidz website.

 

3. Chance plays no part in determining winners. The best entries are determined by the Promoter.

 

4. The decisions of the winners announced on OurKidz Competitions are final and binding. The Promoter reserves all rights.

 

5. Each entrant is entitiled to enter ONCE only into each competition.

 

6. Winners will be notified within 7 days from the competition closing date by emails. The names of the winners will be displayed on the competition listing page. Winners have 7 days to claim the prize after receiving the notification.

 

7. Prizes are not transferrable, exchangeable, and cannot be converted into cash.

 

8. If the Promoter is unable to contact the winner to claim the prize, that winner will forfeit the prize in its entirety and it shall be awarded to the first runner up in the competition. The Promoter shall not be liable to compensate the above-mentioned original winner.

 

9. If the prize becomes unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value.

 

10. All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of the Promoter who may publish or cause to be published any of the entries received.

 
11. By entering into the competitions, the entrants acknowledge that the promoter shall not be liable for:

a. any cost and expenditure incurred to whoever, directly or indirectly, in receiving and using of the prizes;

b. any loss or damage to the prizes in transit; and

c. for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered, including but not limited to direct or consequential loss, or personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of prize winning or in connection with the redemption of and/or use of any other prizes. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any change in value of the prize occurring between the publishing date and date the prize is claimed.
