Redbank Plaza – Win a Volkswagen Polo Competition
1. METHOD OF ENTRY:
Contestants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Official In Centre Entries
During the Promotion Period an individual will be entitled to one (1) entry form for each ‘Eligible Transaction’ Monday- Sunday.
An ‘Eligible Transaction’ is a purchase:
(a) Of any goods or services, but these must
not be:
(i) gift vouchers; or
(ii) deposits into banks, building societies or other financial institutions or payments on account of insurances and the like; or
(iii) telephone, internet or mobile phone calling cards or credit vouchers; or
(iv) lay-by payments;
(b) Within a maximum of two (2) receipts dated the same day
(i) valued at $100.00 or more from Aldi, Coles, Kmart or Big W; OR
(ii) valued at $50.00 or more at any other retailer at Redbank Plaza;
(c) During the Promotion Period.
An ‘Eligible Transaction’ must be evidenced by a ‘Valid Receipt’ being an original official store receipt from a retailer at Redbank Plaza that is clearly marked with the date of purchase, the amount of the purchase and the store trading name.
To obtain an Entry Form an individual must present their ‘Valid Receipt’ to the Customer Service Counter hostesses, level 2, Redbank Plaza who have the right to refuse to accept a ‘Valid Receipt’ and provide an Entry Form if they believe that an individual who is presenting a ‘Valid Receipt’ was not the individual who entered into the ‘Eligible Transaction’ evidenced by the ‘Valid Receipt’.
The maximum number of Entry Forms that an individual may receive for a ‘Valid Receipt’ is 1.
Official Bonus Entries
During the Promotion Period an individual will receive one official bonus entry form (‘Bonus Entry Form’) in each edition of The QT on all days excluding Tuesdays.
‘Bonus Entry Forms’ must be deposited in person in the entry barrel located at the Customer Service Counter on Level 2 of Redbank Plaza and will not be accepted by mail or fax.
All Bonus Entry Forms must be original. Photocopies will not be accepted.
2. PRIZE:
All entrants have the chance to win one (1) 2013 White Volkswagen Polo in number WVWZZZ6RZDU059636 valued at $20,198, including on road costs. This prize cannot be redeemed for cash. Any taxes which may be payable as a consequence of a winner receiving the prize are the sole responsibility of that winner.
Prize must be taken as offered and cannot be exchanged, transferred or redeemed for cash. Profiteering from the prize is a breach of supply and action may be taken if misused.
If the specified prize becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter may substitute a prize of similar nature and/or like or greater value.
3. PROMOTION PERIOD:
The competition commences Monday June24, 2013 at 9.00am. Close & draw will be Saturday August 10, 2013 at 3.00pm.
Entries received after the Closure Time of Saturday August 10, 2013 at 3.00pm will not be eligible.
4. ELIGIBILITY LIMITATIONS:
i. Employees of, or contractors to, the Promoter, Yu Feng Pty Ltd, Trondage Enterprises Pty Ltd, Retail First Pty Ltd, retailers at the Centre and their respective employees and agents are
not eligible to enter the Competition so far as they are directly associated with this competition;
ii. The spouse, de facto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), of such employees and contractors (whether or not they live in the same household);
iii. Contestants who have used or attempted to use any more than one name in order to qualify to win any contest run by the Promoter except in the case of a legal change of name.
iv. All Contestants acknowledge that even if the Promoter only learns of a person’s ineligibility after the Promoter has appeared to award the prize to the ineligible person, it may require the return of the prize or payment of its value to the Promoter to be dealt with as an unclaimed prize.
5. DRAW AND NOTIFICATION:
The winning contestants will be selected by random draw and the Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Winners name will be published in The Queensland Times public notices on Wednesday August 14, 2013.
All Contestants acknowledge that the Promoter has the right to publicise and publish his / her name, character and likeness. All contest winners must avail themselves for a photo if required by the Promoter and acknowledge that the Promoter has the right to utilise publicity photos in any reasonable manner it sees fit without compensation to the Contestant.
6. PRIZE COLLECTION:
Prizes must be claimed in person within two months of the draw or they become the property of Redbank Plaza, unless winner is otherwise advised and ID that includes a photograph may be required. Upon request by the Promoter a copy of the general contest rules and/or a signed receipt and acknowledgement must be signed and endorsed by any winner to indicate his/her understanding and acceptance of these terms. It is the sole responsibility of the winner to claim their prize and to be available on the day for acceptance of the prize.
7. PROMOTER'S LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
The Promoter is not responsible for the loss of prizes due to incorrect or imprecise delivery details provided by a winner. The Promoter also takes no responsibility for prizes lost or stolen after they have been released for delivery via postage or courier. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality/suitability/merchantability of any of the goods/services offered as prizes. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained to personal property and including, but not limited to consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to the prize winner(s) and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the winners.
8. ENTRIES AND PRIVACY:
All entries become and remain the property of the Promoter (subject to the limits contained in the Privacy Statement). All entries become the property of the Promoter. By completing and lodging an entry form, all participating individuals consent to their personal information being entered onto an email database, which may be used by the Promoter for marketing purposes relating to the promotion of the Centre and retailers located in the Centre.
Under the Privacy Act the names and addresses of all entrants in this competition will not be shared or distributed to other parties unless specified.
