The voting period officially opens on Thursday 18th July and will run until Monday 29th July 2013. The Nominees:
Across 30 categories, more than 250 of the most popular health and beauty products available in our stores have been nominated as the best and/or most trusted products in their named categories.
All of the products that have been nominated for a Pinky Awards are in the running to be named the ‘Product of the Year’ – the crowning jewel in the Pinky Awards. Ensure your favourite products are in the running for this prestigious award and make your vote count!
Judging Panel:
The Priceline Pinky Awards brings together an expert judging panel, as well as the public to vote for the winners. You can help determine the winners for the ‘Customer’s Choice Award’, with the judging panel voting for the ‘Judges Choice Award’ for each category.
The expert judging panel is made up of industry experts and opinion leaders across health and beauty – together they bring years of combined industry knowledge and credibility to the judging process.
The judges will select their preferred products in each category, based on the following criteria:
Paying less is a beautiful thing (value for money)
Delivers on the product promise
Innovation and technology
The pink factor (originality and wow factor)

1. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

3. This offer is open to all Australian residents who vote in the Priceline Health & Beauty Awards (in association with media partner News Limited's Body and Soul) during the awards period. Directors, management, employees, officers and contractors (and their immediate families) of the Promoter or of the agencies or companies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter. Participants under the age of 18 must first seek permission from their parent or legal guardian.
4. The competition commences on 14/07/2013 at 01:00:00AM AEDT, and concludes on 29/07/2013 at 11:59:59PM AEST (promotional period). Priceline Sister Club and Beauty Club members will be able to vote from 14/07/2013 by following a link in an email sent by Priceline to members’ email addresses promoting the Priceline Health & Beauty Awards. All other entrants may enter via online mechanism from 18/07/2013.
5. The entry mechanic for the Promotion requires entrants to vote in the Priceline Health & Beauty Awards online at
www.priceline.com.au/pinkyawards (via an online entry form) by entering their details, they will automatically go into the draw to win the Body and Soul prize. Participants will receive only one entry per complete entry form (they may select N/A if a category within the awards entry form is not applicable to them). Only one entry per email address is allowed.
6. It is the responsibility of each eligible entrant to ensure that their details, including their postal address and/or email information, is correct and up to date when entering this promotion. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any lost, late, misdirected claims or correspondence due to incorrect entrant information.
7. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without notice, to cancel, modify or suspend these terms and/or this promotion in whole or in part, including, but not limited to in the event of fraud, technical or other difficulties or if the integrity of the Promotion is compromised, subject to any written directions from the various lottery departments and without liability to the participant.
How winners will be determined and notified
1. The winning entry will be randomly drawn at Res Publica, Level 6, 7 Macquarie Place, Sydney, NSW, 2000 on 21/08/2013 at 10:00AM AEST.
2. Res Publica will utilise an electronic draw system that has been approved to draw trade promotion lotteries electronically subject to and in accordance with the Lottery and Gaming Regulations 2008; Approval no: 906
3. The prize draw winner will be notified in writing by email on the day of the prize draw, and names of the winners will be published on
www.priceline.com.au on the day they are drawn. The winner’s name will also be published in The Australian on 28/08/2013.
4. If any prize is not claimed by 5:00PM AEST on 21/11/2013, the winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter reserves the right to conduct further draws at 12:00PM AEST on 22/11/2013 at the same location as the original draw. The winners of this draw will be notified in writing by email and the names of the winners will be published on
www.priceline.com.au. The winners’ names will also be published in The Australian on 29/11/2013.
5. If any redrawn prize is not claimed by 9:00AM AEDT 22/03/2014, those prizes will be forfeited.
6. Prizes:
There will be one major prize called ‘The Body + Soul health and beauty package’ for a winner and their chosen companion, valued at $10,548 in total. The prize includes the following for the winner and their chosen companion unless otherwise stated:
• Return airfares to the value of $1,900 from the winner’s residing Australian capital city to Sydney and airfares from Sydney to Byron Bay, and Byron Bay to the winner’s residing Australian capital city
• Transport within Sydney over the two chosen days, to the value of $380
• Two nights’ accommodation in a Deluxe view room in The Grand Harbour in Sydney, including breakfast for two people, each for two days, valued at $1,168 in total
• Meals (lunch and dinner) for two people, during the two day stay in Sydney, to the value of $560
• A two hour CHI Escape Journey couples spa treatment, valued at $590
• A round of cocktails in Blu Bar on level 36 of Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney, valued at $50
• A makeover, including hair and make-up, valued at $500
• A Priceline ‘Shopping spree’ voucher, valued at $200, to spend at a Priceline or Priceline Pharmacy store. The gift voucher will be distributed to the winner via Registered Post
• A Priceline hamper, valued at $200. The hamper will be sent directly to the winner via Express Post
• A one hour PT session for two people with a Body and Soul Trainer, valued at $1,000
• A one hour astrology session for two people with a Body and Soul Astrologist, valued at $1,000
• A one hour session for two people with the Body and Soul Nutritionist, valued at $1,000
• A one hour session for two people with the Body and Soul Relationships Expert, valued at $1,000
• A ‘Health Retreat’ experience which includes two nights’ accommodation at The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa, valued at $700 and spa treatments valued at $300
The following important terms also apply to the major prize:
• Unless expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions all other expenses are the responsibility of the winners (and their companions) including but not limited to insurance, current passports, visas, meals, spending money, meals, hire cars, transport to and from departure and arrival points, transfers, drinks, incidentals, mini-bar, laundry, room service, telephone calls, activities, gratuities, services charges, , pre and post accommodation, optional activities, additional spa treatments or excursions and all other ancillary costs.
• The travel, accommodation, expert session and full itinerary components for the major prize will be booked Body & Soul and the Byron travel, accommodation and itinerary components by Mint Partners (on behalf of The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa) on behalf of the prize winner. The Priceline voucher and hamper will managed by the promoter (Priceline). The exact timing for when the travel will take place will be agreed with the winner after they have been notified of their prize (within the dates specified below).
• Prizes may be subject to terms and conditions of third party providers, including the terms and conditions of the airlines, hotel or other service providers.
• The prize winner may be required to present a credit card at the time of check in.
• Any conditions attached to the airfare will be advised at time of booking. The prize winner (and their companion) must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together.
• The complete prize package must be taken as a single trip as four consecutive nights from the 19th and 22nd October 2013, booked by the parties named above and is based on two people travelling together at all times. The Sydney component must be taken on the 19th and 20th October 2013 and the Byron component on the 21st and 22nd October 2013. If a redraw is required all parties will work with the new prize winner to find an appropriate date for the prize package to be taken, but all other terms and conditions for this prize will remain the same.
• The Promoter recommends the Winner and their chosen companion take out appropriate travel insurance for their period of travel.
• The prize winner (and their companion) are responsible for their own transport to the nearest major airport.
• By entering the competition, and by collecting a prize, the winner acknowledges and accepts that driving, travel and any other activities comprising the prize, are inherently dangerous and may result in death, injury, incapacity, damage to property or other losses. The Promoter is not responsible for any acts of god, such as adverse weather conditions or industrial action or civil commotion that may occur whilst the winner is travelling. It is the responsibility of the prize-winner to enquire about local issues and conditions at destinations prior to travel. The Promoter does not guarantee that the winner will enjoy the travel prize or be suited to the type of travel prize that is offered.
7. If the prize winner is under the age of 18 years at the time of claiming the major prize, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s nominated parent or legal guardian on behalf of the prize winner.
8. Delivery timing and method will be agreed with the winner after they have been notified of their prize.
9. The Promoter does not take responsibility for any cancellations or changes in booking that may result in forfeiting the appointment and fee. Prize winners are required to adhere to the specific policies outlined by the provider.
10. Any unused balance of the vouchers and gift cards will not be awarded as cash and must be used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the issuer. Redemption of the vouchers and gift cards is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the tickets, vouchers, gift cards and websites. It will be the winner’s responsibility to make their own way to any event prize at their own cost.
11. The prizes cannot be assigned, transferred, redeemed for cash, or substituted except by the Promoter who may at their sole discretion, subject to the relevant state authorities, substitute any prize with one of comparable value if the advertised prize is or becomes unavailable for any reason. The Promoter will not replace any lost or stolen prizes, or take responsibility for any broken products in the delivery of the product or after it has been delivered. It is not the responsibility of the Promoter to insure any products.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any eligible entrant where the Promoter believes that the entry or the entry process has been tampered with or where any entry has been submitted not in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
13. The Promoter collects entrants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not be able to participate in the promotion. All personal information collected will be dealt with in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at
www.priceline.com.au. The Promoter will not disclose this information to anyone other than contractors who provide services to the Promoter for the purposes of conducting this promotion unless compelled or permitted by law. Entrants' personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners' names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.
14. The contact details of the winning entries may be passed onto a third party for prize notification and fulfillment.
15. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter and its related companies will not accept liability or claims relating to or in connection with this promotion, including, but not limited to, death or injury to any person or loss of property, and any change in value of the prizes occurring between the publishing date and the date the prizes are claimed.
