SAN REMO LASAGNA FACEBOOK PROMOTION
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PROMOTER
1. The Promoter is San Remo Macaroni Company Pty Ltd trading as San Remo, ABN 43 000
228 713 of 4 Boden Court, Windsor Gardens SA 5087 Australia, telephone number (08)
8261 0555 and facsimile number (08) 8261 0265.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
2. Entering this promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and any
other terms and conditions appearing on www.facebook.com/sanremopasta (Facebook
Page) specific to this promotion.
WHO MAY ENTER
3. Entry is open to all Australian and New Zealand Residents aged 18 and over.
4. Employees or contractors of the Promoter or its associated companies or agencies, or any
suppliers of prizes, or the immediate family of such persons, are not eligible to enter this
promotion. "Immediate family" means spouse, parent, child or sibling, whether or not
they live in the same household.
5. The promotional period will commence at 10.00am ACST on Monday, 15 July 2013 and
closes at 9.59am ACST on Monday, 23 September 2013.
HOW TO ENTER
6. For each of the ten weeks during the promotional period, there will be a themed recipe of
the week and an accompanying video of the week which can be viewed on the "San Remo
Lasagna" promotional tab on the Facebook page.
7. To enter the competition, entrants must:
7.1. "Like" the Facebook Page.
7.2. Visit the "San Remo Lasagna" promotional tab on the Facebook page.
7.3. View the recipe of the week and the accompanying video.
7.4. Cook the recipe of the week.
7.5. During the relevant week of the promotional period, submit a written review of
the recipe of the week on the "San Remo Lasagna" promotional tab on the
Facebook page (Work).
7.6. Entrants may also upload a photograph of the meal prepared in accordance with
the recipe of the week on the "San Remo Lasagna" promotional tab on the
Facebook page. Upload of a photograph is optional. For the purposes of this
promotion, any uploaded photograph shall form part of the "Work".
8. Each entry must include the entrant's name, address, telephone number and email address.
9. Entrants will not be able to share their review.
10. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
11. Entries not completed in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or received after
the closing date will not be considered.
12. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants
(including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant
who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who
tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's
discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not
constitute a waiver of those rights.
13. By submitting the Work to the Promoter, entrants grant the Promoter and its licensees and
assignees a non-exclusive, royalty free licence to exercise all rights in perpetuity throughout
the world in the Work and all other material provided by the entrant to the Promoter
pursuant to this promotion at any time.
14. Without limiting the rights granted to the Promoter under clause 13, entrants specifically
agree that clause 13 grants to the Promoter the non-exclusive right to communicate the
Work in whole or in part to the public throughout the world on any media platform and
grants to the Promoter all associated rights necessary to exercise the above rights.
15. All entrants warrant that:
15.1. all details provided with entries are true and accurate;
15.2. the entrant has all necessary rights and licences to grant the rights set out in these
Terms and Conditions;
15.3. the Work is the entrant's original work and has not been previously
communicated to the public;
15.4. the exercise of the rights granted to the Promoter in these Terms and Conditions
will not infringe the rights of any third parties; and the entrant will indemnify the
Promoter against any loss or damage resulting from any breach of these
warranties.
SELECTION OF WINNERS
16. The Promoter will decide the winning entries in its absolute discretion.
17. Entries will be judged by representatives of the Promoter, based on the originality and
creativity of the entry. There is no chance component to determining the winners.
18. For each week of the promotional period, the entrant who submits the best entry as
judged by the Promoter will be selected as the weekly winner. There will be one (1) weekly
winner for each week of the promotional period and ten (10) weekly winners in total.
19. Entries must be submitted during the relevant week of the promotional period to be
eligible for the prize relating to that week. Eligible entries for each week of the
promotional period will include all reviews of the relevant recipe of the week submitted
during the following periods:
19.1. Week One – Monday, 15 July 2013 at 10.00am ACST – Monday, 22 July 2013 at
9.59am ACST.
19.2. Week Two – Monday, 22 July 2013 at 10.00am ACST – Monday, 29 July 2013 at
9.59am ACST.
19.3. Week Three – Monday, 29 July 2013 at 10.00am ACST – Monday, 5 August 2013
at 9.59am ACST.
19.4. Week Four – Monday, 5 August 2013 at 10.00am ACST – Monday, 12 August
2013 at 9.59am ACST.
19.5. Week Five – Monday, 12 August 2013 at 10.00am ACST – Monday, 19 August
2013 at 9.59am ACST.
19.6. Week Six – Monday, 19 August 2013 at 10.00am ACST – Monday, 26 August
2013 at 9.59am ACST.
19.7. Week Seven – Monday, 26 August 2013 at 10.00am ACST – Monday, 2
September 2013 at 9.59am ACST.
19.8. Week Eight – Monday, 2 September 2013 at 10.00am ACST – Monday, 9
September 2013 at 9.59am ACST.
19.9. Week Nine – Monday, 9 September 2013 at 10.00am ACST – Monday, 16
September 2013 at 9.59am ACST.
19.10. Week Ten – Monday, 16 September 2013 at 10.00am ACST – Monday, 23
September 2013 at 9.59am ACST.
20. Data will be exported and reviewed manually and the judging of entries for each week will
take place on the following dates:
20.1. Week One – Monday, 22 July 2013 at 10.00am ACST.
20.2. Week Two – Monday, 29 July 2013 at 10.00am ACST.
20.3. Week Three – Monday, 5 August 2013 at 10.00am ACST.
20.4. Week Four – Monday, 12 August 2013 at 10.00am ACST.
20.5. Week Five – Monday, 19 August 2013 at 10.00am ACST.
20.6. Week Six – Monday, 26 August 2013 at 10.00am ACST.
20.7. Week Seven – Monday, 2 September 2013 at 10.00am ACST.
20.8. Week Eight – Monday, 9 September 2013 at 10.00am ACST.
20.9. Week Nine – Monday, 16 September 2013 at 10.00am ACST.
20.10. Week 10 – Monday, 23 September 2013 at 10.00am ACST.
21. For each week during the promotional period, the weekly winner's entry will be posted on
the Facebook page where the entry can then be "shared".
22. Entrants will be eligible to submit one (1) entry per week. Entrants can enter once during
each of the ten (10) weeks of the promotional period.
23. The result of the competition, including the determination of the winners, is final, and the
Promoter will not enter into any correspondence regarding the result.
PRIZES
24. If the weekly winner is an Australian resident, the winner will receive a prize pack
containing:
24.1 a 'House' gift voucher to the value of $300;
24.2 a Lasanga tray valued at $40.31;
24.3 a San Remo apron valued at $15.00; and
24.4 San Remo 375g Lasagna Sheets RRP $2.44.
25. If the weekly winner is a New Zealand resident, the winner will receive a prize pack
containing:
25.1 a 'Stevens the kitchen specialists' gift voucher to the value of NZ$350;
25.2 a Lasanga tray valued at $40.31;
25.3 a San Remo apron valued at $15.00; and
25.4 San Remo 375g Lasagna Sheets RRP $2.44.
26. The value of the total promotion prize pool is approximately $3,575.40
27. All other costs associated with the prizes are the responsibility of the winners.
28. Prize values are GST inclusive and are in Australian dollars (except where otherwise
provided) and represent the retail value as provided by the supplier as at time of printing.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.
29. The prizes must be taken as offered and are not exchangeable, transferable, or redeemable
for cash or for resale. In the event that the prizes are unavailable, the Promoter reserves
the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
30. The Promoter will make every reasonable effort to contact the winning entrants.
However, if a prize remains unclaimed after a period of three months from the date of the
draw, the prize will be forfeited and may be used or distributed by the Promoter at the
discretion of the Promoter.
NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS
31. The weekly winner will be notified by email from the following dates:
31.1. Week One – Monday, 22 July 2013.
31.2. Week Two – Monday, 29 July 2013.
31.3. Week Three – Monday, 5 August 2013.
31.4. Week Four – Monday, 12 August 2013.
31.5. Week Five – Monday, 19 August 2013.
31.6. Week Six – Monday, 26 August 2013.
31.7. Week Seven – Monday, 2 September 2013.
31.8. Week Eight – Monday, 9 September 2013.
31.9. Week Nine – Monday, 16 September 2013.
31.10. Week 10 – Monday, 23 September 2013.
32. Names of the winners will also be published on the Facebook Page.
33. Winners may be asked for proof of identity, age or residence to confirm eligibility.
34. Subject to proof of eligibility, prizes will be sent to the winners by ordinary post.
35. Winners agree to the use of their name, image and photographs for publicity and
promotional purposes, without compensation, and agree that the Promoter will own
copyright in any such images and photographs and in all material incorporating the
photographs.
PRIVACY
36. In order for entrants to participate in the promotion, the Promoter will collect the name,
email address and telephone number of each entrant. Any Personal Information is
protected by security safeguards as detailed in the Promoter's Privacy Policy, which is
available on the Promoter's website at http://sanremo.com.au/privacy-policy/ (Privacy
Policy). The Personal Information is collected to enable the Promoter to administer the
promotion and identify the winners.
37. By entering this promotion, those entrants who provide Personal Information consent to
the use of their Personal Information for future marketing and promotional purposes of
the Promoter. Winning entrants agree that their identities may be disclosed in promotional
material and on the Website and the Promoter's Facebook Page at
www.facebook.com/sanremopasta. Personal Information will not be used for any other
purpose.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
39. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or
merchantability of any goods or services offered as prizes. To the extent permitted by law,
the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act
or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or agents, in
connection with the arrangement for the supply of goods and services by any person to
the prize winner or by use of the prizes. This clause does not affect any rights a consumer
may have which are unable to be excluded under Australian law. To the fullest extent
permitted by law, any liability of the Promoter or its employees or agents for breach of any
such rights is limited to the payment of the costs of having the prize supplied again.
40. If for any reason the promotion does not run for its duration due to a computer virus,
tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond
the control of the Promoter that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness,
integrity or proper conduct of the promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole
discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or disqualify any
individual who tampers with the entry process. The Promoter is not responsible for any:
40.1. malfunction, delay or traffic congestion on any network or line, computer on-line
system, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or website;
40.2. failure of any email or entry to be received by the Promoter; or
40.3. injury or damage to entrants or any other person related to or resulting from
participation in the promotion or downloading any materials for the promotion.
41. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the
result of the promotion or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited
to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest or strikes;
the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the promotion and recommence it from
the start on the same conditions.
42. The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administrated by, or associated with,
Facebook.
